Happy New Year, BIC! ✨ We’re stepping into 2025 with a crucial reminder: we must take special care of ourselves — this year and EVERY year. Some of us may already have set resolutions and/or stellar routines nailed down; regardless of where you are on your self-care journey, we could all use a few extra nudges and motivation to spend some extra time on ourselves! 🤝

Much like posts from previous years, we’ve come up with a list of weekly prompts to challenge you to strut your self-care skills. 💗 This time around we’ll be focused on all things skincare, because when our skin feels good, we feel GEWD. 🌟 We encourage you to participate and respond to the prompts that inspire you – and don’t be shy to share any other self-care tips and tricks along the way!

Week 1 (1/8 – 1/14): Curating the perfect rise and glow ☀ skincare routine to kick off your day 

Week 2 (1/15 – 1/21): Relaxing in your favorite face/eye mask(s)

Week 3 (1/22 – 1/28): Trying out tools to promote wellness (rollers, high tech tools, DIY massage . . .)

Week 4 (1/29 – 2/4): Adding some extra indulgence to your body care (baths, butters, oils, scrubs etc.) 🛀

Week 5 (2/5 – 2/11): Washing your makeup brushes, towels, pillowcases, etc. — whatever touches your GORG face 😘

Week 6 (2/12 – 2/18): Stimulating your scalp with treatments/serums (yes, this is skincare too!)

Week 7 (2/19 – 2/25): Sharing your favorite jumbo or refillable skincare goodies to get the best bang for your buck 🤑

Week 8 (2/26 – 3/4): Giving your hands and feet some extra love (masks, creams, exfoliants, etc.)

Looks like a solid routine, @Cissy63! You've piqued my interest on that Shiseido Cleansing Milk!.... sounds like something I'd like! 
Oh and I love that Sulwhasoo serum... but then again, I've loved just about everything I tried from the brand 🙌😃

@Shosh85  Thank you!  Yes after I tried the sample kit from Sephora, I was hooked.  I kept waiting for a sale on Sulwhasoo website over the holidays.  And jumped on the chance for the serum.  😊

These are fabulous skincare routine choices I have never tried the Inkey set but it looks really wonderful in terms of skincare steps! The cloud moisturizer always is refreshing! Amazing routine 🤩 @LeaKy00

Week 1 (1/8 – 1/14): Curating the perfect rise and glow ☀ skincare routine to kick off your day

I believe day glow comes from a combination of morning and daytime routines so here are mine. This set has been working pretty well for me and I haven't noticed any usual winter dehydration or discomfort this year. I only remembered to take photos when I was doing my PM routine last night hence the bad lighting. Also my cleansers were in the washroom and hubby was taking shower so they didn't make into photos. I also forgot to include lip balm in photos but I'll list them below

Night time routine;

- Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil

- OSEA Ocean Cleanser

- Cellcosmet Active tonic

- 111Skin Celestial black diamond retinol oil 

- Lancome Renergie HFC triple Eye serum

- Farmacy Lip Smoothie (Mango)

I wait about an hour for above product to fully work and absorb before moving to second set of products for night which includes

- Lancome Energie HFC triple serum for plumping and anti-aging

- La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream

- Odacite Le Blue Balm ( only on some nights if I am awake for too long after PM skincare)

Morning Routine:

@fatimamummy What an incredible routine. That eye serum looks really nice. I typically have just used creams, but I wonder if a serum may work better for daytime!

Thank you @PrettyPaint ! With many eye serum you still need to apply eye cream on top but this one is very hydrating, removing the need of an eye cream.
