2-3x a week skincare

Some things flummox me, such as certain skincare. 

I get it that you can't use Acids or exfoliators everyday.

But what about items such as:

SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream- says everyday use, yet has papaya enzymes.

Estee Lauder NightWear 3 min detox mask. Says to use only a couple times a week. Don't get it.

MD perricone Cocoa moisture mask- 2-3x

FRESH - Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask- 2-3x per week.

Can I even mix and match these 2-3x a week? What if I alternate the Perricone and the fresh? These are the odd questions I have! Help a girl out, please! 😊😊Fresh black tea instant perfecting mask

@l8totheparty I use acids almost every single day, now exfolating, that I do 2-3 times a week. definitely follow what the instructions say on how many times a week to use it.

Learning to read ingredients labels on skincare will demystify a lot.  There are a few good sites with "dictionaries" like cosDNA that I consult often.  And like @TennisTony said, the concentration of each ingredient matters too.  Most products list ingredients in order of highest concentration to lowest.  So the ones listed at the end are typically present in only trace amounts.

 So to me, the ones you posted look like nice moisturizers, that are safe for everyday use.

However, everyone's skin is different, so it's best in general to just slowly phase new products in over time.  Try it once a week and see how your skin reacts.  Any redness, irritation, itching, etc?  If not, then go for twice a week, then three times and so on.

The Cocoa and fresh tea seem like moisturizers to me. Not sure why only 2-3x a week use there. @drrragon

Concentration of each ingredient matters.  I suspect Tidal doesn't have as much enzymatic exfoliants as a mask would have.
