Using Duo Lash Glue & Ardell Wispies - causing irritation

hello! I’ve been using duo lash glue and ardell wispies since I started the fake lash game however every time I wear them my eyes and red and itchy and constantly water especially at the corners. I end up taking them off at the party or wherever I am before even getting home because it is so uncomfortable. It also takes away my wing and shadow on the outer corners of my eyes due to the watering and irritation. 😞 I was wondering if there is another alternative because I love wearing lashes but I heard you can be allergic to not only the glue but the lash strip as well. Anyone with similar problems have any advice? Thanks in advance!!

Re: Using Duo Lash Glue & Ardell Wispies - causing irritation

When I began my eyelash game, I use to love using Duo glue! However, I found a new love for the Tartiest Glue by Tarte! It has changed my eyelash game completely!

Also, perhaps you need to trim your eyelashes just a little more so that your inner corner doesn't get watery. I use to have that same problem until I started to trimming more of the eyelash and haven't had problems since!

Hope this helps with your eyelash game! 🙂 ❤️

RE: Using Duo Lash Glue & Ardell Wispies - causing irritation

I use that those exact products on a daily basis with no irritation. The first thing would be to find out what is irritating you (and why) to avoid it altogether. You can do so by either seeing a specialist or just switching up the glue or lashes to see if you still have the same reaction. I'd suggest trying different brands and assure that your lash application is not conducive to your irritation. Too much glue or not allowing the glue to get tacky before applying, can create that issue.
