FSA Eligible Products

I’ve heard that makeup with spf 15 and over are eligible for #FSA reimbursement. Is this true?

Re: FSA Eligible Products

That’s correct, anything with SPF over 15 is eligible (moisturizers, skin tints, foundations, powders, lip balms, etc). In addition, anything related to target acne such as AHAs, BHAs, etc are also eligible. I’ve bought the Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant 8 oz/ 236 mL and other salicylic acid cleanser ( The INKEY List Salicylic Acid Cleanser 5 oz / 150 ml  ) and have had these refunded without any issues. Oh and I saw at the FSASstore that vitamin C serum was also an eligible item so I’ll be requesting a refund on my next bottle on SkinCeuticals but I haven’t tried it yet.

Re: FSA Eligible Products

Just a heads up- the product has to have sunscreen as its primary use to be eligible for FSA/HSA spending.  So the Supergoop Glowscreen IS eligible because it is a tinted sunscreen, but the Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF 15 IS NOT eligible because it is a cosmetic first.

Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 Face Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide

Re: FSA Eligible Products

Did you try and which sun screen did you buy at Sephora?

Re: FSA Eligible Products

Yep! Sunscreen is eligible. I always use the FSA Store site to check eligible products.
