October box recalled item

October box included benefit gimme some brow. it was recalled so sephora will refund u for that month

in regards to the October box and the recall...do we have to ask for the refund or will it happen automatically? I am still not receiving the correct samples and am being charged for shipping even though I paid for the Flash subscription. I have emailed customer service and not received a response. Any ideas of how to resolve these issues?

you have to contact customer service, I did thru email and ask for the refund.. I complained about my flash 2 say shipping taking 4-5 days, they gave me 100 reward points to compensate.. I called and spoke to someone directly about that

To anyone asking why the product was recalled, Benefit’s official statement says it is a voluntary recall, not a mandatory one, and should be fine with standard eyebrow use. The issue is it didn’t meet quality standards, and may cause some level of eye irritation if the product accidentally gets in your eyes. They recommended to stop using the product and return it to the store in which you purchased it for a full refund.

I would like to know why the recall too. How come Sephora hasn’t let us know? I was going to send it to my DIL because it’s too dark for me. I don’t want to send her something that’s not good.

Benefit said that it didn’t meet quality standards; they said it should be safe for standard eyebrow use, but could cause eye irritation if any of the product gets into your eyes. They recommend to stop using the product and return it to wherever you bought it, but it’s only a voluntary recall, not a mandatory one.
