Make Up Forever Ultra HD Perfector Skin Tint Fountain way too dark.

Overall this month's box was of good quality, but it had a couple issues. First my it Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder was destroyed. I immediately contracted customer service and have since had this resolved. My second issue however happened later on when I tried the Make Up Forever Foundation. It's so dark on me it looks orange. I was sent a 6 which turns out is warm sand. To put this in perspective for you my foundation I use now is Sephora Matte Perfection Powder in 14 neutral linen. Very disappointing. Everything else was fantastic though.

@LZens I am sorry you had such a disappointing experience with your Play box this month & hope the Sephora team was able to resolve the broken powder. I wanted to provide a positive experience for anyone out there considering a play subscription- My box was a great match for my needs and my ultra hd tint was the perfect color for me. That has literally never happened for me that a sample matches my skin tone, which is olive. As a teenager I always felt disappointed by Clinique free gift promos because the makeup was always intended for fair skin and I basically gave up on free make up samples & free gifts. For reference, I received the #8 color of the ultra hd, and I do not have a skin/color IQ number listed in my profile for play or Sephora. I am just listed as olive complexion. @LZens I hope your play box goes better next month! 🙂

I agree! Mine is more orange! I am supposed to be the lightest shade. That’s disappointing!

What did they do to resolve it? Mine is broken, still waiting on a response.

They said they couldn't replace the broken item, so they refunded me for the month.
