Over the past six months, we’ve been behind the scenes making plans for an exciting new release that we can’t wait to show you. Thank you for letting us into your lives (and your mailbox). Not really. So repetitive. I canceled because I received the same item idk how many times. I went with Allure. It carries great items and haven't received a repetitive item yet. It's been almost a year.

I'm super sad about this especially because I talk to customer service and they told me that it was just going to be changing to better items in the box but it would still be the same $10 box. and if they had been planning it for a while but not to worry that I would still get the boxes at the same price and that does not seem accurate. and the worst part is I called in twice and had two different customer service reps tell me this. this was the one subscription I always look forward to this is the one that no matter if it was one item or all of the items that I liked that I always found my favorite go-to items that are now my everyday items that I continuously buy. I'm sad the way it went out and yet not available the way customer service said it would!

Most likely they had a script they read from that told them what to say. this whole luxe release sucks. I missed the first one and had no clue other then stocking it for a while to see it for sale and never did..I dont live near a sephora so I use these as a way to try things out before I buy them, so I wont have to return things...its much easier doing it that way. they should just do it better and charge a bit more.

well that makes me sad. are the play boxes going to be available on a non subscription basis on the website still? I liked that option so I could decide if the enclosed items were ones I wanted to try. I love the deluxe sample sizes for travel!

they are to difficult to get and then have to stalk the site. like the one is already sold out and I have been watching for 2 weeks trying to get one. I dont live near a sephora so I depend on these samples every month to figure out what works for me and what dont.i dont want to buy something then return it because it dont work. thongs at sephora are expensive. I think this is the wrong move. or sign it up where we can be sign up for the luxe box when it comes out to already be signed up and just take payment from us and send it to us..its bad enough you went from 3 to 2 samples....especially for people like me whom dont live near a sephora. it's not a good move, especially when I spend THOUSANDS here. will have to start looking elsewhere

It is very disappointing. Play was such a good box. Unfortunately Sephora managed to disappoint twice this month. My last ever box was shipped to the wrong address and somehow got returned to Sephora. I contacted CS and got a reply “thank you for feedback - too bad subscription was discontinued.” Way to go and nice attitude - no wonder everybody is now shopping at ulta. It’s definitely not the end of the world for me but I clearly going to be shopping elsewhere.

My dad just renewed my subscription for another year what will happen to it since the box is getting cancelled ?

Hi @lilyprovost! Since the boxes are billed a month at a time, he will not be charged for anything from here on out.

I am well was a play by sephora subscriber I was wondering will you be letting us know about the new subscription coming out? I will most definitely be interest in it.

I was told that the current Play subscribers would have a heads-up to the line that they're coming out with, the Sephora Luxe, but I didn't receive so much as an email that it was dropping today, and they were sold out by the time I looked. Big time dropped the ball. I've been subbed to Play for years.

@malorie07 Hi there, there will not be a new subscription program coming out. Instead, we will be offering new Sephora Favorites kits throughout the year that feature everything you loved about PLAY! with more choice and more exciting offerings.
