I know I have more samples that I will ever be able to use ( I am an old lady after all) but I can't stop. I love getting my grab bag every month but then they just pile up. I do give some to my daughter, but even parting with those is traumatic. What do others of you do?
I use most of mine, but once a year, I give dry shampoo, perfume, along with socks, new sneakers, and underwear to the women’s shelter I send money most months.
I like to buy those grab bags of socks and underwear at my local 99 cent store, clearance rack sneakers along with Toiletries and a check for Thanksgiving. It’s a birthday present to myself.
Great ideas!!! @howconnie I didn’t think of giving the perfume samples to the women’s shelters. I have a huge bag full of those and mini mascaras Too
I figured they could use a little fishing up in between showers, they like to receive any new beauty products
Yes good thought @howconnie
A couple years ago I bought a ton of mascaras and blush/lip color pots for the women’s shelter. I think the perfume vials would be fun for them! In fact I also have a huge bag of Ulta an Sephora little GWP zipper bags filled with deluxe samples that I’ve been hoarding for a few years as well. I should take all of those there too.
If you ever want to sell your perfume samples, im your girl. I love them. Love the variety. I never finish a bottle of perfume before im tired of it!! Think about it. Let me know. 😉✌

Oh I’m sorry @Anonymous I didn’t see your post. I’m so lazy that way.
Want to give up any of those little eyeliners/mascaras? I am almost blind and the shorter sizes, make them the perfect size for me.
I know how you feel about sample hoarding. I give extra samples to nice people I meet. I actually started giving out my samples to adults for Halloween. I usually put together Christmas gifts with samples for my loved ones. Please don’t feel bad because they are your samples. But, if you don’t use them all maybe you might get some ideas from the ones I just mentioned above.
I love getting so many samples. I know I would not even give some of these a 2nd look in the store, so I get a chance to try new things sometimes with pleasantly surprising results. Since I'm a chocolate girl, there are lots of the samples that just wont work for my complexion or hair type. I give those away to friends/family/co-workers better suited for them. People love getting an unexpected little, no reason at all, gift. Having the samples also lets me play with looks, try out new things, and wipe it all way without feeling like I'm wasting money. Don't hoard them...have fun with them daily!!
AS A NATURAL BORN SAMPLE HORTER I USE THEM ALL I HAVE THEM ORGANIZED AS A DAILY BASIS RUTINE.I USE THEM ALL AND BUY THE ONES I FEEL THAT WILL BE A FOREVER LOVE. I GOT A FEW OF THE 250 POINT GLASS TRAYS FROM SEPHORA AND IT WORKS FINE.

They make great gifts to friends on samples I will not use or don’t like. I have sold these samples at flea markets (both my parents passed away and I am unloading other stuff) but women can’t get enough of buying high end samples and this pays me back since I subscribe to so many boxes. The products do take up space this moves them along everyone’s happy
I love getting the samples but I don’t use most of them. They’re nice for when I DO need them. The rest of them I send to my daughter who loves them. She has them sorted into pouches by product type. With 4 kids she can grab what she needs in a hurry. We talk about the samples we try and buy the full size products of the ones we really love.
I am in my 50s and just discovered beauty boxes this year.. so much time wasted!!! I use about 80% of what I get, and have found neighbors or friends who I can share the items that I dont need (the dry shampoos are what I seem to have a ton of) but I like the idea of donating to a battered womans shelter!!! Thanks for that worthwhile idea, guys!!!
I donate my extras to a battered women’s shelter or I sell them in goodie bags on eBay 😉
