I still have not received the December box 😤

SO ticked off with this PLAY Box BS. The products that were advertised in the December Box were not in the box I received. I was looking forward to the Wander Lip Oil in Nude and Dr. Brandt's Eye Depuffing Cream; instead I got another mascara when I do NOT WEAR MASCARA; another Bum Bum cream to add to the 3 I already have; some hair product that doesn't address any of my haircare/styling needs and a red lipstick that does not match my skintone and makes me look garish & clownish. This is the 2nd time the advertised box products we're told we'd be receiving were not in the box. Not ONE of them! Not sure who is in charge of PLAY Boxes but maybe it's time to reassign some duties. Definitely time to cancel my PLAY subscription and just stick with Allure's box. At least I get what they say I'll get. Sephora may be cheaper but it's waste of my money when I don't get anything I'm actually looking forward to trying. I also used 100 points for a ceramide cream sample that I didn't get so that's 100 points lost. Add in the PLAY Box fiasco and you get someone who is NOT very happy with Sephora right now. All I want is my Wander Lip Oil in Nude sample, my Dr. Brandt Eye Depuffer sample and my 100 points back. Can anyone make that happen or am I wasting my time and money? I'd pick the latter right now. Ugh!

I’m right there with you gurl!!! 😡😡😡 I got two products advertised as part of the dec box and one happened to be the wander lip oil... I’d be happy to trade u my tube for your bum bum cream- I can’t get enough of that stuff which I bought the full size jar of it and ran out then bought the tiny one but I’m out of both and so mad at Sephora’s play box that I refuse to buy anymore at this time!! I tried the lip oil and it came gushing out as soon as I opened the lid- way too much product at one time for me! It wasn’t nude either it had a merlot wine -ish tint to it if I remember correctly... I haven’t looked at it since that first day I opened that joke of a box!!! The kicker is they could have at least put some points in the lousy box if they absolutely couldn’t find anything better to put in it than what they chose... I agree with u- RE-assignment is a must for the person handling the boxes going out! ESP w/to new subscribers!! And that “reusable” sbag... seriously??? Sealable recycleable??? Just call it what it is... trash!!

I unsubscribed. Now, Allure for me, Ipsy to try new, sometimes inexpensive alternatives... Same stuff over and over with Sephora's Play box. Changed to plastic bags. Dropped the Play Pass... all within a year. Why are the other companies able to keep their quality standards?

You have nothing to look forward to with the wander lip oil....they gave out an almost empty tube of it. It says 3ml but I had to squeeze it and it was mostly air. A tiny bit of product is in the tube. Hugely deceptive.

Mine came out all at once as soon as I took the lid off - I’m so aggravated after reading that others are also getting crap in their play boxes! I guess they figure what’s a few disgruntled customers to a makeup giant like Sephora!! We are nothing to them obviously or they would have more pride and integrity in what they choose to package for us- it’s not like we aren’t paying for it- & it’s also not like they don’t get most their trial sizes given to them anyways from the suppliers/vendors wanting to get their product exposed to as many people as they can!! The fact they didn’t include points esp at Christmas is a real game changer for me already!!!

still haven't received my December box. it's been at the transfer from UPS to USPS for 3 days. Anyone else have this problem?

Yep, mine on UPS says it was transferred to USPS Dec 19th ( In omaha where I live) still haven’t gotten it. When I log into Usps it says they’re awaiting the item in Kansas city. Ugh

that's one of the reasons I stopped the box subscription. I'm 80 miles RT from nearest store, and I work 6 days a week. after I changed to a gym by my house, I was rarely able to get my point bonus.

I am so sick of getting the Bite lipstick in an ugly brown nude that looks horrible on me. I’ve tried multiple times to change my profile so I stop getting it, yet month after month I receive it. My box this month sat unopened for a week (and I received the lipstick AGAIN) - a sign that it’s time to cancel.

How many times am I going to get the same products? When I saw the Sneak Peek, I was excited. Finally products that match my preferences. Now that I got the box, I am officially canceling my subscription. This is the fourth Urban Decay setting spray and third Bum Bum cream I’ve gotten this year. I’ve indicated in my preferences I don’t use brow products nor do I want hair samples. Why is my actual box completely lame? Is Sephora just messing with me? Regardless, after three years, I’ve had enough. The declining quality compared to other beauty subscriptions isn’t even worth the $10 per month.
