Benefit Gimme Brow Recall - September Box

Benefit is recalling the Gimme Brow Eyebrow Gel that we received in the September Play Box.  Should we be concerned if we used it?  Is the mini that we received included in the recall?

I just found out about this today--by accident--by scanning through the PLAY! group discussion threads. Why wouldn't those of us who received it in our boxes be notified by Sephora? I haven't used it yet. Just tossed it in my big box o' samples, but now I'm not sure I want to go near it. <sigh> I suppose I will toss it now. Glad to hear that most folks haven't had an issue (though it appears some have).

I would love to return it, as I have had nothing but problems with the brow gel. It is somewhat dry with thick pockets of gooey brownish grey `liquid` throughout. It's the only product I have really disliked in the PLAY boxes so far.

I got this and also bought the benefit desert island box where this was in. I feel like I need a refund for that and a new product for it being in my box! How do we go about getting a refund or what is Sephora doing about this?

Call customer service. They offered me 250 points for the sample I got in my play box and I was able to return the full size I recently bought in store without any questions asked.

I got Gimme Brow too and I'm still using it, if you use it properly nothing will happen. There is absolutely no need for any replacement or refund from Sephora side, things happen guys, there are 4 more items for $10 so how much refund do you want? $2? Please be more realistic 😉

I had gotten the gimme brow too in that box. I had been planning on giving it to my mom since she uses it, but now we're both nervous about it! It could potentially irritate your eyes. I'm glad I found this page though because I didn't realize I could get my play box refunded

BRUH. I didn't even know about this, I've been using gimme brow for weeks since I got it in my box. This is so upsetting because I loved it 😓 Then again, my eyes have been a little red lately, but didn't think that something that goes on my brows would be the cause of it 😧

Same for me. Now that I'm reading this, it almost explains why my eyes have been watering like crazy. I haven't used it since the weekend and my eyes have been dry as a desert...Interesting.

The recall states if used properly you won't have an issue. (Property as in, don't get any in your eyes)
