Benefit Gimme Brow Recall - September Box

Benefit is recalling the Gimme Brow Eyebrow Gel that we received in the September Play Box.  Should we be concerned if we used it?  Is the mini that we received included in the recall?

We have just become aware of this matter, and in an abundance of caution in partnership with Benefit Cosmetics, have removed the product from sales in our stores and our website [US and Canada] for the time being.  While the product doesn’t involve any risk with normal usage on brows, it could lead to eye irritation if it comes into contact with eyes, we would recommend you discontinue usage of your Benefit Gimme Brow sample.

How about gimme brow small or travel size products. I have one in use and one in my drawer. also what do you recommend as a replacement?

You should notify the call center, i barely got off the phone with them about the benefit great browanza and they did not even mention anything about the recall when i asked why the product was removed from my list and why i was not able to get a notification of when it will be coming back in stock

Yes! Apparently a rat was found in the vat that the gimme brow was made! It read: effects full size and samples. Can cause pink eye!
