I had the same problem for the longest time. I went through 100 different mascaras trying to find one that wouldn't do that. But pretty vulgar eye shadow primer came to me in my boxy charm and changed my life. And I think any primer will do as long as you use it. I tried the powder and concealer but it didn't work as well for me.

Hi @saraamhz!I use Cetaphil Cleanser for Normal to Oily skin, OLEHENRIKSEN Balancing Force™ Oil Control Toner, and Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid to help control oils. You can use blotting sheets throughout the day to remove excess oil. I blot after sunscreen and again after foundation/concealer. I dust on some translucent powder after that.

For a natural look, the most important thing in my opinion is to have a light base. I have oily, acne prone skin with plenty of scarring so I have had a difficult time finding products that cover my blemishes and scars without getting cakey. My favorite combination currently is the Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25 Medium R350 . It does a great job of providing coverage without being too cakey. I then use a light concealer and the Hourglass Veil™ Translucent Setting Powder Standard Size Translucent - .36 oz / 10.5 g #, but just on my t-zone to keep the natural radiant look. Plenty of setting spray is key, and my favorite is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater 8 oz/ 236 mL. It's not technically a setting spray, but does the trick for me and for fairly cheap!

You may want to try a chemical exfoliator instead of a physical one because you're right- many are overly harsh. If you do want to stick with a physical one, I love Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract 1.7 oz. A few gentle chemical options to consider might be First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads 28 Pads, AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Enzyme Peel Mini 0.7 oz/ 20 g, or a salicylic acid serum. @mbcollette 🙂

What's your current skincare routine, @tiawilly? You'll need the basics in place before trying harsher products so you don't accidentally irritate your skin.
