You should try the Too Faced matte peach collection, the primer/foundation/setting powder are amazing. I have super oily skin and fenty didn't work for me but Too Faced did. And use a good blotting paper or film throughout the day, it takes away excess shine and grease and doesn't melt your makeup away. Best of luck!

Yes, you can use Glycolic acid and Vitamin C...usually in that order.  I was watching Hot and Flashy on YouTube.  Angie's father is a chemist and she really does her research.  Are you sure you can't switch and do the Glycolic/Vit C in the AM and then do the niacinamide in the evening?  I do that and it seems to work just fine.

So for any of us older ladies, 55+, what foundation are you finding that works with the dreaded 3...oil, pores, and wrinkles?  I am going to be found under a collapsed pile of makeup that simply doesn't work and I was too lazy to return.  When I properly color-match the pores become highlighted, which isn't a good look...until it becomes a fashion trend I'm stuck having to reapply my makeup half way through the day.  I truly do like natural finish, but then the oil shows up less than two hours later and I want to powder the heck out of my face.  Estee Lauder Doublewear stays on the best but it does tend to creep into lines and wrinkles.  Help!!

@kaylaaboe hey girl! I had a similar skin late last year/early this year. This may not be super helpful, but I was prescribed 6 weeks of an antibiotic, followed by a topical cream for maintenance. The antibiotic cleared everything up within 3 weeks (which is fast from what I hear), and the topical got the rest. I only use the topical once a week and I haven’t had any issues since! At the 3 month mark there were some bumps that came close enough to the surface to be extracted (not required, but if you wanna do this, definitely get it done by a professional so you don’t risk scarring yourself!!). The topical cream is Clindoxyl (there’s a generic form I’ve also used, Taro-Clindamyacin, and it’s the exact same). It’s 1% clindamyacin phosphate and 5% benzoyl peroxide. It WILL stain your towels, sheets, clothes. I know it’s expensive to see a doctor/derm for treatment, but if you’re gonna be spending money on Kate Somerville, Sunday Riley, or other high end skin care brands (and this is coming from someone who LOVES these brands), it may be worth the investment to see a professional first. If not - you can definitely find a lot of products with BP in them, so at the very least that should help!

Hi @Iva714,   I find that my skin produces less oils when it is properly hydrated. I make sure to apply hydrating moisturizers and serums before bed, and I use mattifying products in the daytime to control any shine.   For my daytime routine, I use a lightweight moisturizer like BELIF - The True Cream Aqua Bomb. Then I spray COVER FX - Mattifying Setting Spray all over my face as a priming spray, and follow up with the FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Pro Filt'r Mattifying Primer before applying my foundation. If I need to touch up my t-zone throughout the day, my go-to product is FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Invisimatte Blotting Powder. I hope this helps!    Best regards, Laurie

I picked the drunk elephant set as my bday gift last month. I was excited to try it because it's way too expensive to buy. After using the face wash I found myself wanting to rewash my face because it didn't feel clean... Like refreshing clean. Then when I used the moisturizer, my face started to sweat a lot, it was like I had ran 10 miles in the desert. Unfortunately I was on vacation and it was the only stuff I brought so I had to double wash my face then wipe a good amount of the moisturizer off. I wish it worked like I had hoped.

Hi @lynnzz7, If you're looking for a foundation with a matte finish that provides natural looking coverage, I highly recommend the GIORGIO ARMANI BEAUTY - Power Fabric Longwear High Cover Foundation SPF 25.
