Sheer Foundation

I have not used foundation in about 7 years. The last foundation I used and loved was the MUFE Velvet+ Mattifying Foundation. I want to get back into using foundation but am looking for more sheer to maybe medium coverage. I want something to help even out my skin tone but not necessarily cover all the imperfections (if that's possible, lol). I'm looking for any recommendations both high-end and drugstore. For reference, I have oily, acne-prone skin in my mid 30's.
