Good toners, serums, and sunscreens for oily, acne prone skin

I have oily and acne prone skin (add sensitive to the mix) and I was going to buy my toner and serum from this brand Good Molecules. Before I buy it though, I wanted some suggestions just in case.

I also need a new sunscreen because the one I have currently from Glow Recipe and it made my skin tingle and not in a good way.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks! 😊

Re: Good toners, serums, and sunscreens for oily, acne prone skin

Hi doll, I hope you’re doing well!

Good Molecules is a great brand and their affordable serums have been a frequent purchase in the last year. I use the niacinamide and hyaluronic acid serums and seen my redness and oiliness improve in a few weeks to month. I recommend diluting the niacinamide serum since a 10% concentration could be too intense for sensitive skin in the first week or so. Just do a 1:1 drop ratio with another serum (like the HA one). Being consistent in your routine is key really.

As for sunscreen, I use the Bioré UV Aqua Rich SPF 50 PA++++, I skip moisturizer and opt for sunscreen in the daytime to avoid a heavier weight on the skin in the summer. I do warn that there is a white cast that lasts a few minutes. Aim for gel-like consistencies if you’re still searching for moisturizers/sunscreens.

Best of luck in your journey! ☆
