You’re feeling the sniffles, so you head over to your local Canadian drugstore. While waiting for your prescription, you think to yourself “maybe a little retail therapy will help me feel better!” Next thing you know, you’ve got a basket full of medicine, skincare, and a couple of bath bombs, and a bag of Swedish berries to go with your medication. And score! You just spent enough to get 10000 bonus points!
Americans have their infamous Target runs, but for us Canadians, it’s Shoppers Drug Mart. Share your sales, secrets, hauls, or points promotions here. And Pharmaprix shoppers, you’re included too! Can’t forget our fellow Québécois!
@Girly2Shoes that's wonderful, I'm glad you had a good experience!
Thank you so much, sweet @caitbird . I'll be posting some pictures soon. I sure hope to get a supportive group to meet for coffee when I'm dressed up.
@Girly2Shoes I hope you can! I look forward to seeing your pictures 💜
@caitbirdthere's 3 pictures I posted as a reply to original post.
I hear the concealer is different but also amazing!
I only really needed more top coat and some hair product to help tame my hair. It’s thick and straight, so it doesn’t fall naturally on the side of my head until it’s really long, so I needed something to help it until it grows out. Not a huge fan of this but it works and it was on sale. The rest were there because they had a points offer. I really like the tinted lip balm. Tinted is a strong word, it still looks sheer to me but I love the texture and the case is pretty cute. Reminds me of some of Rare Beauty’s packaging.
And on a separate run to Shoppers, I picked up Dove’s 7-in-1 miracle mist. It’s a really nice leave in conditioner. It said it could also be used with styling but it has hardly any hold, at least for me short, thick hair.
I was looking for a fan brush and decided to see what they had at Shoppers. The beauty technician on was very helpful and pointed me in the direction of this brush by Lise Watier.
It's the size and shape I was looking for and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be... so of course I bought it 🤗
It's pretty plush
And she threw in the free sample from La Roche-Posay,✨ (That was a nice little treat 😉)
@CynthieLu That fan brush is so plushy, you could almost use it as a pillow! That’s a great find. I’ve only ever seen brushes from Quo or elf.
@JoSometimes I was chatting with the beauticians. They saw me scoping out the brushes. I didn't see anything I liked on the shelves. We ended up having a chat and I told her what I was looking for ( I did not like the Quo one 🤗) and she popped open a drawer and pulled out this one. I was like you get me! Lol and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it might be, so it was very serendipitous I think.
Now thou, I want to know what secrets are in all those drawers 😜✨
Two separate Shopper’s runs over two days. I really needed cuticle oil and grabbed some from Essie. It features apricot oil (Thanks again @ionianblue for the recommendation!) It smells so pleasant and reminds me of spring even though apricots are more of a summer fruit here. I also need to replenish my supply of lip balms and decided to check out Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm.
The second run was to find a lighter brow pencil. My Sephora pencil is great for bold, well defined brows but I wanted something lighter for a more subtle look but still fill in the sparse areas where my brow hairs are shorter. I also wanted a lighter eyeliner and something I could use for tight lining but wasn’t black. I didn’t realize it was shimmery but I kinda like it anyway. Both are from Rimmel.
✨ your so welcome!💅 @JoSometimes 🌸 ive never experienced the Sakura in Spring myself but the Essie scent is def. lovely 🌸
@ionianblue It’s pretty magical. I’ve only seen it once myself. I always end up missing peak bloom.

Thanks @CynthieLu for helping me find this thread!
I got 20 times the point with this purchase!
@Mellmars1185 I’m so late to the party here. 20x points is amazing! Did you go on a certain day or did you use one of their weekly offers? How do you like the Jason Wu palette?
@JoSometimes Thank you. I went on a Saturday. It was an app/flyer promotion. I like the Jason Wu palette. It blends out really nicely and I like the soft neutral shades. It is pricey for a drug store palette but I wanted to try it out. No regrets 😊
@Mellmars1185 Thanks for the review. When I spoke with one of their advisors, they recommended either Revolution or Jason Wu for what I wanted and I went with Revolution because it went on sale at that time. I’m glad I wouldn’t have been wrong either way. Maybe I’ll check it out some day.
What's the wear like and the clean off of the Superstay Vinyl Ink lipstick?
@Girly2Shoes I find the Vinyl lipstick is quite long lasting once it dries down. I used it this weekend and it came off on its own after a few drinks and food. I reapplied after 4 hours. I have used it before and removed it right away with Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm .i found it came off quite easily with the balm.
Thank you my dear @Mellmars1185 . Have to try one or two.
Yeahy! I'm glad you found it.
That really is a stunning palette @Mellmars1185 🤩
