With a toddler around, I have to be fast when doing my makeup, so double duty products are great. I use a tinted moisturizer with SPF for foundation, and multisticks for cheeks and lips. For eyes, I don't go crazy, just one color and mascara.

I mostly just wear mascara and lipgloss if I'm leaving the house, but I've been focusing on skincare and that helps me not have to worry about putting on a full face. FAB Beauty face cleanser + Clarisonic, then a toner, sunscreen and Clinique moisture surge. night routine is similar, replace the sunscreen with retinol eye cream. I've had people comment that I look really glowy and smooth lately!

So glad I found this post because I’m going through the same thing. 27 years old as well and 3 months after I had my son I started to get really bad mouth acne. I wasn’t on BC because I was breastfeeding at the time and was told BC dwindles your supply. I tried so many acne products to help minimize or prevent scarring but I still ended up with those red/dark marks afterwards. I started using a gentle exfoliate 2 times a week, Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx peeling gel, along with a FOREO Luna to clean my face. I started to use the Boscia Detoxifying Charcoal Face cleanser and my nighttime routine consisted of Cliniques Dramatically Different Gel moisturizer and Tartes Maracuja oil to help bring moisture to my skin since I’m combo. I got back on BC and I have seen that my skin is getting less breakouts and the dark spots are slowly going away but some are still there from years ago. I’ve only been doing these things for a few months and have been curious myself if any of the lightening products help. All I know is after I changed my skincare routine and got very thorough with it I noticed big changes. Took a lot of trial and error and I’m still going through the process of finding out what products can help so I’m right there with you! I have heard good things about Murad. Just sucks that beauty is expensive. A good drug store face cleanser and toner with salicylic acid is the brand Alba Botanica. I used that for years before I got pregnant and it did help with my acne. Only thing I didn’t like was it made my skin feel so dry. I didn’t put moisturizer on after I used it either because I was afraid it would cause more acne but now knowing that moisturizer actually helps my face has become better at not overproducing oil.

Some people have a genetic predisposition towards developing stretch marks and it sucks. During this pregnancy I've used a combination of pure organic coconut oil and Sol de Janeiro's Bum Bum cream. Sometimes I can't stand the smell of coconut oil but it works great at hydrating. A lot of people suggest shea butter or cocobutter products as well.

There is a thread similar to this one that you may enjoy joining @KCPrince!https://community.sephora.com/t5/Moms-Only/Moms-Who-Makeup/m-p/3421856  The answers are pretty diverse and there’s some good conversation ☺️  I’m a mom of 3, and I personally don’t wear makeup everyday, but I do always ensure that I do my skincare routine 😄 You’re only 4 months PP, take it easy and try to focus on self care where you can, whether that be taking a shower, doing your makeup, reading a magazine or book- whatever fills your bucket ❤️

Had you tried hourglass’s mineral veil primer? It’s supposed to sooth redness and irritation while working for all skin types. It has sunscreen in it so if that’s a trigger avoid it of course. Always make sure your foundation and primer match silicone or water based also. You can always grab up some samples in store and experiment with what works for your skin concerns.

Omg!!! That soap is a miracle, NO JOKES!!! My husband used to have bad acne problems mostly in his chin and forehead... and this African soap is the best for ALL SKIN TYPES plus he uses the aveno clear complexion with SALICYLIC ACID which fights acne. I only used the African soap and my skin is combination/oily ... I don’t try any other face wash for daily use because I’m 7 months pregnant and I look for natural products that don’t hurt my unborn baby.

My favorite brow product is Bobbi Brown's Brow Shaper.  It's incredibly simple to use and hard to mess up, because you just comb it through your brow hairs.  It's tinted, so it makes your brows look a bit less sparse, but since you're not actually drawing brow hairs on bare skin, it's not as dramatic of an effect as some people would like. https://www.sephora.com/product/natural-brow-shaper-hair-touch-up-P390422?skuId=1639665&icid2=products%20grid390422

Have you looked into Clinique? A lot of their products are formulated for sensitive skin so good for pregnancy. Ole Hen makes some great acne products that are naturally based as well. I’m 2 months pregnant and I just bought that clean beauty sephora kit to try some new products. It’s hard to recommend acne products as everyone’s skin is different especially during pregnancy.

Hi I’m due in March! I’m looking for natural skincare too and the new “clean at Sephora” markers on products are really helpful. I’ve been using Tarte, Fresh, and Lush for my pregnancy friendly skincare product needs. I use Lush lotion on my toddler as well. Make sure you look at ingredients for hair products too as Drybar puts saw palmetto in their southern belle root lifter which is SUPER dangerous for pregnancy as it is a natural testosterone replacement. Ingredient check and google is a fast way to tell if a product is safe for pregnancy. Good luck!

Are you pregnant now? Like someone else said it’s very common for people with acne to have it disappear or diminish during pregnancy. Mine completely clears up which is how I knew I was pregnant this time 4 days before my missed period. Usually acne and oily skin is associated with testosterone (which increases before mensuration) which there is less of during pregnancy. I hope you are one of the lucky ones with clear pregnancy skin but if not there are lots of safe options just ask your doctor.
