@TraceyEB The liquid blush is a completely new formula for Suqqu. However, based on how it appears in all the swatch photos I’ve seen, it does seem quite similar to the nars liquid blushes texturally and in finish. I’m still trying to decide if I want to pick any of them up because the shade range also looks like it overlaps with the nars. as to the liners, if they have done this formula before, it was before I got into the brand. I have worked with their potted gel liners (great), gel pencils (good) and calligraphy pen liners (hit or miss).

Remember.....As a teen youth is important. Your skin is at its peak of oil productions. Simple is gorgeous on a young tight face.1.) bold liner on top lid (wing it) 2.) try a neutral eyeshadow3.) bold arch brow4.) a light lip gloss or neutral lip color in matte5.) no blush only bronzer. sweep on cheek bones than use it to fill in eye lids instead of cut crease or overall color. 6.) only mascara eyelashes look invasiveLove you

@mermaid805 Isn’t it crazy that carousels for liquid glosses (and liquid mattes, and long bullets) are so hard to find? The only ones I’ve ever found were designed to hold a mix of glosses and bullets: X number of gloss slots and X number of bullet slots. Why hasn’t anyone designed a carousel in which ALL the slots are deep enough for glosses? Good grief.  You could diy a carousel, using 2-4 gloss holders meant to be laid flat on their backs. Stand them vertically on one of their short sides, then hot glue them back to back. Then you’d need a flat carousel to put your stand on... you can find lots of different ones for kitchen use, or you could probably find a small one (to hot glue to the bottom of your stand) at a craft store. The only major problem with this diy: the gloss slots won’t be angled up. Since the slots would be deep enough, that might not be a big problem after all—but you’d still wanna spin the carousel slowly to keep glosses from sliding out, just in case.  I’m trying to think of other options... other kinds of spinning stands (or stands that could sit on a small flat carousel) with deep angled slots, that weren’t originally designed for makeup storage. What kinds of other small things might folks need angled slots to store? Think along those lines and you might find something you can repurpose.  Oh, and the stick-on acrylic holders are from The Container Store. Search their site for “stickonpods” (yep, all one word) and they’ll come up. There’s also a magnetic version (search for “magnapods”) I use on my magnetic shelf system. There are probably cheaper versions out there, but I stumbled upon these while browsing a local Container Store one day. You could really use any small acrylic bin and add 2 or 3 small-sized Command Strips to stick ‘em to a makeup holder.

Return it if you can, and definitely don't put in on your face. While sometimes makeup may be have fragrance that may not be someone's cup of tea, it shouldn't smell "nasty". Especially if it's a chemical-y kinda smell.

I had to check which ColourPop palettes Ulta sells online, and I’m glad my number one CP recommendation’s still available: Dream St.  Details & other CP recommendations: SpoilerDream St. is a good mix of neutrals, pops of color (2 pretty teals and a coral red), mattes, and shimmers. It’s very versatile, yet fairly safe and not too intimidating. A beginner who shies away from color can start with the neutrals and work their way into those other colors. I’ve played with this palette a bit and had no major problems with it: shades blended well, didn’t feel super chalky, and the mattes weren’t patchy.  If your teen likes warm bright sunny colors, Yes Please is another option Ulta sells. I don’t usually recommend that one unless it’s for someone who’s not easily intimidated by color and loves warm tones.  Too bad Ulta doesn’t sell You Had Me At Hello. That’s what I sometimes recommend to folks wanting to give a beginner a warm cranberry palette. Oh, and I Think I Love You is another warm palette: mostly browns, bronzes, golds, and coppers, with a black matte. I see Ulta does sell Double Entendre which is a very neutral palette, but I Think I Love You provides more versatility. Dream St. is a good mix of neutrals, pops of color (2 pretty teals and a coral red), mattes, and shimmers. If your teen’s intimidated by color, that palette might overwhelm her—though the shades are nicely arranged with neutrals at the bottom and brighter colors up top. I plan to depot 2 of my other Juvia’s palettes (I’ve decluttered a 3rd) so I can keep just the shades that work well for me. But I’ll probably keep Masquerade intact.  Swatches & other Juvia’s palette notes: SpoilerDry Masquerade swatches, interior lighting, no primer.Generally speaking, Juvia’s shimmers are better quality than the mattes. The shimmers are usually amazing. But the mattes tend to be patchy. Just something to consider.  I had the Afrique palette and quickly decluttered it. Too many mattes were patchy and the shimmers weren’t up to par.  Lots of folks love the neutral Nubian palette. I don’t have that one, but I do have Nubian II: it has enough neutrals for a beginner to play with, but also some nice shimmery colors to explore.  I also have the Magic palette but I’m not very impressed with it. Some of the shimmers are nice. Some of the mattes need lots of building up.  Juvia’s Magic swatches, dry brush, interior lighting.Dry Masquerade swatches, interior lighting, no primer.Generally speaking, Juvia’s shimmers are better quality than the mattes. @Sam4JC Yes they do.  If you look on the actual item there will be a number that tells you how long it's good for.  Depending on the product it could be 12, 18, 24, 36 months for example.  You don't need to follow it to a tee but it gives you a guideline.

Sorry for the late reviews but at least I gave it a proper month for the skincare review CIATE GLITTER STORM PALETTEI tested this out in Nov but it has been quite a busy month! I am no expert eyeshadower and I thought the palette was ok. At first it may seem like the colors dont blend well but it really depends on your brush. I  used Sephora pro crease? brush #38 and it blended the crease(Stargazer) like magic when I was heavy handed at the corners. There are 3 colors that were pigmented enough for 1 layer: Interstellar, Comet and Solar.Ciate GlitterDark Light All the glitter ones, Firestorm, Strike and Pandora, have fall out but it is very minor when you consider I didn't use eye primer. I saw glitter but there was no color-they all had silver glitter specks that looked the same to me.  I will post a pic with daytime lighting once I grab it from the camera. I think I put a little too much purple(stargazer) and ruined Interstellar-that was such a good color on its own and looked like I did a complicated blend but it was just one color.  Unfortunately, the only glitter storm is the gorgeous packaging I could stare at all day. Maybe I will do something I have never done before and use the glitter to line the lower lash line. Sephora Collection Neon Lip Gloss Except for the blue color that clashed with my skintone, this formula is amazing and the colors are amazing. I think the yellow and the purple ones are my favorites. It lasts pretty well for a lip gloss. It is also the most pigmented gloss I have seen in this price range. The wear down is fantastic because it wears out evenly to a pigmented lip stain. I think the only complaint I have is that they're not Neon enough, lol. But then I love my bold colors.  If you want to get out of your comfort zone, I think these glosses could be a great gateway to bolder colors. GUCCI Bloom Nettare di Fiori Rollerball Ive been using it for a month and Im not sure its the scent for me but it is very pleasant. It has a unique scent of Jasmine that is not too strong but it doesnt last too long on the skin. I am not good with fragrance descriptions but I would deem it a semi heavy floral scent thats not too sweet.  Indie lee i awaken eye serumUnfortunately, this did not work for me. I never noticed any improvement in the month that I used it. I am now back to Drunk Elephant Shaba complex and I can say the Indie Lee is a very watery consistency compared to it. In fact, just as I expected, the alcohol and witch hazel affected me but I didnt notice until a makeup artist pointed out that I was very dry in the under eye. Now, I didnt get any breakouts or itching, it just dried it out. I hope they take out the alcohol that is the 4th ingredient on the list. It doesnt say what kind of alcohol so I dont know if it is the good alcohol or the bad alcohol.  Bumble and Bumble Thickening Go Big treatment. This stuff works on fine hair. This created pretty awesome body and my husband noticed my hair was not as flat as it usually was. What's even better, and I am sorry if it is gross, I hadnt washed my hair for 1 day and it still managed to give me body. I don't usually use hair products but this is one I would consider purchasing!

I just remember being obsessed with the Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 20. I used just that for years (literally just over moisturizer before primer was a thing). I kind of want to buy one again to see if I still like it haha.  I don't have any pictures but one of my friends got me this juicy couture makeup holding cube and all my makeup fit in there and it was so perfect and I felt very fancy. Now all my lipsticks don't even fit in it haha
