The Celine Beauté Thread

Time for a Celine thread with all the new products coming! The first lipstick was released last October with 14 new shades added. Gold tubes are the satins and silver are tinted lip balms. In addition to lipstick there will be a lip palette, face powders- loose and pressed, mascara, eyeliners, eye pencils and nail polish with more products to follow each season. Celine’s site currently sells lip brushes and cases, fragrances and travel sprays, candles, home scents and bath and body. It will be exciting to see this line grow! Here is the original Satin 01 lip I picked up last winter with case plus some refills also in satin formula. 01 seems to be a bit more pigmented but they are all satins so who knows. They can be built up, and are very smooth and comfy. Fragrance is the same for all of these, medium ish I would say. I wondered how purple 9 and 15 would be and they are but they also mix beautifully with the reds as I’d hoped for more of a burgundy red wine. Beautiful on their own or when layered. Their site swatches do not quite align with mine tho Amit’s are closer I think. The case is luxe and heavy. The refills also advance on their own and the cap fits very snugly! Yay! Such a lovely line!

Right now I have happy eyes I honestly always enjoy following your threads on makeup brands I feel like you do a beautiful job at presentation and giving the products a beautiful way to shine. Aww you’re making my day @peculiarzmakeup , so sweet and kind of you to say! 🤗 Makeup is our happy place eh?! 16/04 is my favorite so far I think! Plus I do love to combine it with 01 or 15 and 01! Nightclubbing is def a vibe I agree! 🥰

Thanks for these great swatches, @Sunnysmom !  I also appreciate the info about the refills working on their own.  You picked up the four colors I've been looking at.  We are so like-minded when it comes to lipstick.

Really @Titian06 ?! I love that! We so often do! 😘😍 Seeing how they actually look I could have probably done without Zou Zou, but it is very pretty. 4 LE 16 is my favorite I think, what’s yours?
