Definitely check them out! Swatches don't do them quite the justice they deserve...I had a bit of a hard time building them up, but they are even lovelier once on! ❤️

anyone able to provide a side-by-side of NARS audacious jane next to a NARS velvet matte lip pencil in dolce vita ?

Here goes! Jane is above Dolce Vita.

Left: indoor light; Right: near window natural light.

Jane is more orange, rustier.

Dolce vita is pinker, with a hint of mauve.

ok. dolce vita is a hint pinker/cooler but they are quite close, aren't they ? i think i'm going to hold off on jane, even though she's on my mind.

But I love Jane! She and Dominique are my top favorite Audacious shades, and two of my top favorites in my entire lipstick collection!

They are close, but still different enough that you might want to try it if you get a chance. You will look great in both 😄 

Dolce Vita looks slightly warmer on my pigmented lips; probably because it is less opaque and more muted. Jane has a cool sheen to it, I am not sure how to describe it.. Temptalia's pictures, while not true to color, would show you what i mean.

yeah temptalia, while a valuable resource....i just don't trust those photos ! that lighting !!!

I have found this to be true too, Christine's lighting is very deceptive. The best it is good for is dialing in to a handful of options, then swatching them yourself.

I have Jane and was very sad to discover she's not terribly flattering on me. She'd probably be a lot prettier on you and I'd be happy to send her to a good home for just the cost of postage!

Haha, well I do love giving unexpected gifts, but also in this case I never would have motivated myself to brave the mall to make the return. 😉 It's been sitting around unused for like two months already and handing it off to someone who will appreciate it seems much better!

Could someone please provide a lip swatch of Rituel de Fille 'Chrysalis' lipstick? And any other dark green lipsticks anyone might have? I really want a dark forest green lip, but I need to find the perfect one.
