Hmm, okay thanks for the swatches and reviews. Some of those shimmer/sparkles are more pastel than I thought. Those mattes look so smooth. Lovely! I feel I may not need this, or may prioritize other palettes I am eyeing, but will still swatch in store and make the final call. Your pup is so cute sleeping in the sun! Thanks!!. @makeitup305

@sister13 Platinum looks kind of blue in the pictures but it's actually just a metallic silver. Iced out is a duo-chrome finish. The pink shade is like a rose gold that leans more pink. Once I got it and looked at my other palettes, I realized that it reminded me of Ensley Reign Cold Moon which has a similar vibe. That one has more 3 more shades and is little more expensive (without countign shipping) but I think it's worth it since it has holochromes and multichromes.

Thanks! I think they are a great value for $40 (way less during the sale!) So many color options and good pigmentation, plus I love the shimmer and sparkle! @CynthieLu

Thanks for swatching both palettes, @sister13 ! I’m considering buying one for someone whose skin tone’s in the same range as yours, so your swatches are very helpful. Vibrant Lights is more up her alley, but both palettes seem to have swatched well for you. The mattes look better (not very patchy) than I expected. 👍

Also: is that the tail end of a cat loaf—a cat activation button—I see in some of your photos? And a puppy cameo? Not that I tried to give scritches through my tablet screen or anything. 😅

Lol yes to the fur babies hind-end cameos! They like to be involved in whatever I am doing! @WinglessOne 

I’ve ordered another Vibrant Lights for a friend of mine, too. I think it has more color options, but still includes lots of nice neutrals if you want them. The mattes are not like, say, Natasha Denona in terms of buttery pigmentation, but they are way better than a lot of less expensive formulas!
