alright, here it is. use this thread to request swatches. the guidelines are up to you and your needs: single swatches, comparison swatches, specific skin tone swatches

Holy moly I can't ask for swatches, they are so beautiful! I won't be able to resist a purchase. 🙈🙈 Those ones are incredible. My eyes instantly grew in size looking at those shifts. Right? So stunning!

Can I ask about the wear and fallout?

@CynthieLu What I should do is post a list of the shades I own in the thread and people can ask for swatches of the ones they’re interested it. I’ve found it hard to get good swatches online, especially with decent lighting.  I find them to have decent wear but I usually wear a primer. I don’t get much fallout during the day. I might have a bit of creasing but nothing major. The shades are not very thick compared to some other multichromes so they crease less than some others. That said I don’t live in a humid climate or have oily eyelids.

For @lmaster, swatches of some of my Clionadh shades. I stole this style of swatching from a Youtuber whose name I can't remember. It's honestly the best way to capture multichromes. These are all over the Karla Cosmetics Fix Potion Eye Primer but no glitter glue. I rubbed it in with my finger to smooth out the pigments.

Tessera- this one it's harder to capture the slight orange/pink shift. It's a little more satin/less reflective than some of the others

Swatches for @Mellmars1185 of the MAKEUP BY MARIO Ethereal Eyes™ Eyeshadow Palette: The Original as well as some comparisons to NATASHA DENONA I Need a Nude Eyeshadow Palette . I was rushing to not lose the light so they're a little all over the place.

Angle to show that the sparkle shades have a pretty translucent base

The 1st, 3rd, 7th, 9th, and 10th are Mario, the rest are the closest shades in the ND palette

1st, 4th, and 7th are Mario, all the others are ND. 

They're not twins but they're definitely related. I would say overall the Mario is slightly warmer and the ND is more neutral with a few warmer shades. For both palettes, some of the sparkle shades are more translucent at the base and have a more topper finish while others are denser and have a more concentrated pigment and glittery finish.

These are so great to see thank you @makeitup305 ! 😍 I keep looking at the Mario palette too. It’s so soft and lovely and probably more subtle than the ND of course. It appears very wearable! Ugh. I think I’ve swatched it in store way too many times! 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😭

@makeitup305 Thank you so much for the swatches. While they are similar, i am drawn more to the Makeup by Mario palette. Do you have a preference?

@greeneyedgirl107 @Mellmars1185 I prefer the ND, just because I'm used to her formula and I love that I can switch out the shades between palettes. That is a big plus in my book. You also get 3 extra shades for the same price. I think the mattes in the Mario can be a little bit on the thinner side so you have to be careful not to over-blend. The Mario topper shades might be slightly more glimmery and refined but it's barely discernible. Mario leans a little peachier/warmer in some shades so that might be a preference for some. A con for the ND would be the size- if you're concerned about space, the Mario is more compact and they have the same amount of product per shade.  What I can do is do a side by side wear with the most similar shades and report back.
