We had a fabulous collection thread on the old BT that didn't seem to migrate over to BIC and since I love looking at collections, I thought I'd start a new thread.

This is a space to share your beauty collections - makeup, lipstick, nail polish, perfume, whatever you've got!

I'll start off with a few of my collections.💗

Since this is about collection, I thought I'd ask here... Where do you all keep your collections? I am trying to decide if I should keep it in the closet (has full size mirror) or should keep it in the bedroom (will have to buy a vanity plust risk of family members getting the shock :p).

PS: I don't have much make-up but (a lot) more skincare and samples. 

I only keep the currently open/ in-daily-use items in the bathroom.

I want to avoid being these in the humid condition for long though my bathroom is not that humid as there is exhaust and thankfully now it's decent size bathrrom in this house. 

Please let me know if I should move this question to some other thread.

I have a very crammed space. So I have my perfume sample train case, some of my go to palettes in little envelope holders, a little organizer for face products and my brushes, two trays with highlighters and eye shadow singles stacked together, and a little stack drawers with my eyeliners, mascaras, and lip liners with two trays of lipsticks on that on my dresser, next to that I have 1 tub and 3 shoe boxes with the rest of my eye shadows and lipsticks, with two trays of lipsticks and blushes on that. My small vanity has all my full size perfumes and the second shelf has shoe boxes of different sized perfume samples. Skin care goes on my shelf in the bathroom, very crammed haha.

@naturalooks15 My stuff is split between an Ikea Lack shelving unit, and a 5 drawer dresser in my bedroom. I think it depends on how much space you have, and how much you are willing to spend.

My full bathroom’s not very humid and I don’t take long hot showers, so I keep most of my makeup in that bathroom. My backups are in a closet outside the bathroom. All my skincare is also in that bathroom, minus things I keep in the fridge. 

My half bath is never humid and always chilly, and the lighting’s better in there. (Lights in my full bath are affected by all the sand-colored floor & bath tile, so everything reads warm in there.) I’d move all my makeup to that bathroom if it had any counter space, and if I didn’t mind visitors getting quality alone time with all my stuff. 😂 

Once upon a time, I considered moving my old secretary desk to a window and making it a makeup vanity. Instead it’s become a giant accessory/jewelry box. That’s the better use for it, I think. I wouldn’t buy a vanity for my bedroom unless I could place it near a window for natural lighting.

@suzyo I wish we had Ikea in this little town I move to. As soon as you add shelving, shipping is quite high. Need to find local dupe for billy bookcase I guess @WinglessOne Good point about natural light and window. Will consider that in my plans

Here is my Becca Pressed collection. I loooooove this formula so much and thanks to the palettes I haven’t needed to buy them all individually. Also, they last FOREVER. I’ve had that mini Opal for who knows how long and I’ve barely made a dent, despite using it quite a bit.

@curlychiquita Thanks! It’s not huge but I have more Becca cheek stuff than any other brand in my collection. Laura Geller is in a close second though!

I wore a bright coral lipstick today that I had held off on buying for a very long time because...well, it’s not entirely dissimilar to the other corals in my collection. But it’s one of my favorite shades to wear and after stalking it for a couple of years I finally bought it. (BTW having a VIBR sale line up with your birthday makes justification of these kind of purchases soooo much easier.)Laura Mercier (new), Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury

I absolutely love this post! I'm the same way. I feel like you can never have "too many" lipsticks! I probably own 100 nude lipsticks, but none of them are the same to me (lol). Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I LOVE buying lipstick, and certain colors more than others even though I never wear lipstick lol. I just love the look of the cute cases and the actual product inside. Idk, theres just a certain "feel" about some of them and I cannot resist! I have a lot of similar shades, simply because they're beautiful to me, but i never actually wear them lol. I intend to pass them to my grand daughter... (shes 13 months old lmao!!)
