Should i get my prom makeup done at Sephora??

I’m considering bringing a friend to Sephora so we can get out makeup done for prom since one of the tier-up rewards included 2 free makeovers. I haven’t ever gotten my makeup done at Sephora before, i’m so scared!

@malia2113 If you're in the US, the employees use the testers in makeovers... For brushes, powders, pump spouts, lipsticks, eyebrow pencils, etc. that are easier to disinfect, it doesn't hurt to ask the employee to sanitize them in front of you (for peace of mind, and your health will thank you). For products that are more difficult to disinfect like eyeliners, mascara, liquid lipstick, etc., you can ask the employee to open a new tester. You can also bring/buy your own products and ask them to use those instead!

I think it's a great idea for you to book your prom makeovers at Sephora! They have wonderful artists there that can glam you up for any event. Be sure to take lots of reference photos for them to utilize so that they can best capture the looks you are both going for. Best of luck!
