Sephora Six: Coming Through In a Clench

Hey everyone! 👋🏽.  Ever had a beauty self-actualizing moment? (No? Just me...ok...) I wanted to know...conveniently before sale time... What are those products that come through for you when someone goes away??  They can be a new love, HG or replen.

 

For me this morning it was DIOR Rouge Dior Contour No-Transfer Lip Liner Pencil in Wild Brown.  Any "concealer lip" situation, she can fix!  And Ceremonia Hair Oil Mist con Aloe Vera 2 oz / 60 mL is in my cart, that is a must for me any time I need a little moisture or shine for my tresses.

Other come throughs:

DIOR La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Face Cleanser 5 oz / 150 mLbecause it's a cleaner and makeup remover.  It can also foam up and it doesn't dry out my skin.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Linework Paintbrush Fluid Liquid Eyeliner 0.034 oz / 1 mlA must for my eyeshape and I love a brush tip liner

Maison Margiela 'REPLICA' Jazz Club Eau de Toilette with Tobacco Leaf, Pink Pepper, and Rum(this pairs with a few scents, I feel like it's the rum + pepper combo that does it, because it can go with earthy, floral, gourmand and not be too much.  It's also my "patchouli fixer")

Hey @danielledanielle does the Dior La Mousse remove mascara as well? I currently use Sulwhasoo cleansing oil and then Bioderma but if Dior does it all in one then I’m interested in that!

You know @Sunnysmom , I don't know 🤣.  Maybe I'll give it a go today, because you me have curious.  I'll try it on one eye, just in case 👀

 I usually use a balm or their bi-phase remover just because I got them in a set (cleanser/remover/micellar) and just used them that way.

It did remove the mascara...and part of my eye (Kidding), it's def not for that area

No worries, I did this to myself and I wanted to try it.  My eye is totally ok @Sunnysmom 

Also, it's been reformulated.  I am not thrilled, the new version is up at dior's main site, costs 7 dollars more and has a different consistency.

@danielledanielle here are my SOS products these days. Forgive I didn’t get these to you before end of the sale, life… (See spoiler for some cheats/honorable mentions if I could expand the six! Lol ) 

Oribe Intense Conditioner for Moisture & Control 6.8 oz/ 200 mL saves my hair when it starts to feel dry and it also really makes it so shiny too. Love this stuff and a little goes a long way thankfully. It seems like I can rationalize almost any price for makeup but hair stuff gets me. lol 

DIOR Diorshow On Stage Crayon Kohl Liner 254 Blue this liner really stays on and I love to layer it over black. Brightens up my eyeballs a lot. Such a beautiful vibrant blue. 

DIOR Forever Glow Maximizer Longwear Liquid Highlighter 017 Nude saves the day when I feel pale and washy dull. Great neutral shade. I love that it’s smooth and not sticky. 

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads my ride or die to revive dullness and sets my skin up for a good glow. 

La Mer The Eye Balm Intense 0.5 oz/ 15 mL I save this for my worst aggravated allergy eye days and it works every time. Redness and flaking are gone quickly. 

Westman Atelier Lip Suede Hydrating Matte Lipstick with Hyaluronic Acid Pip - this is actually the holiday red from the trio but Pip is similar. Brightens up my whole face with or without any other makeup and leaves a pretty blurry stain. If needed it makes a nice pop of blush too. (Of course that doesn’t usually happen with no makeup but it can! 😂)

These are my other honest SOS and must haves if I could expand the number danielledanielle ☺️ ! Avene helps me so much if itchy allergies bugging me and U Beauty duo are my daily go-tos. Also Chanel Profond berry cream to powder blush. That was really hard to not put a blush on the original 6! 🤣 But a lip does work in a pinch I figured!

OLEHENRIKSEN Pout Preserve Hydrating Peptide Lip Treatment Lingonberry Jam GlimmerIt may not be pigmented enough as the original Holiday '23 version but, it still tastes delicious! And soothes my 24/7 dry lips!

CosRx Micellar Water. A cheaper than most micellar product. It replaces the Milk Hydro Ungrip Micellar water. No fragrance, doesn't dry out/irritate my eyes removing mascara and a good amount of product (13 oz.)

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Tinted Lash Primer in brown. I use it as a mascara cuz it's super easy to wash off.

PHLUR Strawberry Letter Eau de Parfum Travel Spray 0.32 oz / 9.5 ml eau de parfum sprayor BURBERRY Her Elixir Eau de Parfum Intense Travel Spray . I love to keep smelling my arm. These are such uplifting scents!

Briogeo Style + Treat Non-Aerosol & Talc-Free Dry Shampoo Powder Puff TintedNon Aersol dry shampoo. I love that it works on dampish hair cuz you were too lazy to put on a shower cap 🙂  I love the therapeutic head bashing it gives me. Bonus: For my dark brown hair-maybe I'm not blending it in all the way but, it adds a little bit of color like highlights. I do have to be careful not to get it on my face and I need to put gloves on or it will look like I didn't wash my hand for months, lol.

PATTERN by Tracee Ellis Ross Juicy & Joyful Mist Spray BottleI do love this bottle (the white one) but REALLY wished it was pink I use it for the Cosrx Micellar water. Thanks for the tip @WinglessOne I use less cotton pads cuz of this 👍

Honorable mention: Jane Iredale ColorLuxe Eye Shadow Stick in Sable dupes me into thinking I put eyeshadow on but didn't. It doesn't last long enough on my oily lids as a eyeliner but then melts(aka creases) on the whole lid. It doesn't form a double line like an eyeliner would, if that makes sense? It's a warm color but I think is good for an everyday no-matter-what-colors-you're-wearing outfit/makeup.

I’ve not used Jane I in a bit @Buootiful . The eye shadow stick sounds promising! It sounds like Chanel Electric Brown which is so good for the same thing. Have you seen to compare by any chance?

@faeriegirl  Yes, yes and yes! All great picks! How do you find the Dior foundation stick? It was on my maybe list for the sale but I didn’t end up getting it. Would love to get your take so I can reconsider for the next sale 😊

@gonerogue  It has a very natural finish and it’s very creamy and blendable. It holds up really well for about 8ish hours. The only negative to me is that it’s not fragrance free.
