New to the Beauty World!

Hi, I currently decided to learn how to do makeup and create any everyday look for myself. I started off with Anastasia products and love them so far. Any other recommendations?

How exciting! I remember when I first ramped up my interest in make up and skin care...get ready to head down the rabbit hole! 😜 I honestly think some of the most fun is going in-store to swatch and try things (and Sephora is really great about giving samples of things you want to really try before you buy). I could list all sorts of amazing brands/products for days-what are some things you're looking to add to your collection? Do you have any special considerations, like cruelty-free only or any skin sensitivities (like trying to avoid certain ingredients, etc)...I think a few really important early collection basics are a great mascara, an every day and a bold/fun lippie, and a comfortable base product that fits your needs (from BB cream to full coverage foundation, which ever you like but in a finish that flatters and feels good to you). Let us know if you're looking for specific recommendations for anything-it's hard to say just one brand since they all have so many things to offer, and often a brand does one thing particularly well. The only advice that I can give is to not get to caught up in one brand.

I was all about bare Minerals until I saw what else was out there. I mean, I wouldn't even look at another brand.

Join some sub boxes and try different brands. Go to both stores and play around with stuff. 

It on, take it off.

This is makeup. There are no rules...
