Makeup Madness Challenge 2024 – CHAMPION REVEALED: Check out Community's favorite product!

We’re kicking off March right by bringing back the BIC’s favorite beauty bracket challenge – Makeup Madness! 😉 For the fourth year in a row, we’re putting makeup-related categories to the test by asking Community members to pick their favorite between two every week. At the end of the bracket, we’ll know which makeup category will earn this year’s Community Champion crown. 👑

In past years, Mascara, Lipstick, and Eyeshadow have earned the honorable title of Makeup Madness winner. This year, we’re bringing eight fresh categories into the frenzy – we’ll reveal them slowly and keep a visual of the current bracket updated below!

I agree with @danielledanielle - a surprise lineup! I am so surprised by all the eyelash curler votes!

For me, I can't live without eyeshadow primer and I just have a weird feeling about eyelash curlers. I can use them on other people when I'm doing makeup on them, but I don't like to use on myself. I have an irrational fear that for some reason, my arm will jerk while I'm curling my lashes and rip them out- is that just me?? @sister13 my fear every time is I’m going to pinch my eyelid cause I do so often.  I LOVE the heating Panosonic curler cause it rolls up the length of your lashes.  No fear of tugging’.

I don’t use eyeshadow primer or an eyelash curler very often but i have to go with eyelash curler. I recently picked up the Dior BACKSTAGE Lash Curler and I need to use it more!

ROUND 4 (3/22 – 3/28): Eyelash Curler vs. Eyeshadow Primer

Eyelash curler. My lashes are stick straight. I could always use a concealer or cream base with MAC Fix+ as my eye primer but can’t live without an eyelash curler.

I'm going to go for eye primer**, currently a fan of PAT McGRATH LABS IntensifEYES™ Longwear Eyeshadow Primer IntensifEYES™ Longwear Primary and NARS Pro-Prime™ Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base Original (medium was my jam, tho).  Pat reminds me of the old UD.

**But, if you asked me in my starting days I was team lash curler.  I would run it under hot water to get heat on it (don't do this people) 🤣 and hit it with the Dior Diorshow Waterproof Mascara .
