Best primer for acne prone skin

I want something that doesnโ€™t make the skin matte, more of just a healthy glow. I have combination sensitive skin and want a primer for my glossier skin tint

Re: Best primer for acne prone skin

I hope you were able to find your primer! I am in LOVE with Tatcha's liquid version of their Silk Canvas primer. It slightly mattifies for combination skin but not so much that it feels all dry and gross. Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer 1.0 oz / 30 mL

Late to the party, but I'm seconding the Milk makeup Hydrogrip primer. Without makeup it already looks amazing, and under my foundation it keeps everything in place all day. I tend to get oily if my face isn't moisturized enough, and with the Milk primer I never look shiny. It's so good, and I think it is good for every skin type.

I donโ€™t like primers but recently received a sample of ciatรฉโ€™s watermelon burst hydrating primer. It is very light, has a watery gel-like formula, and goes on light so it doesnโ€™t require much. I like it under my tinted moisturizer.

Best primer for acne prone skin

Hi, I like to use Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer it's hydrating and gives the skin a natural looking glow or natural finish depending on what you put on top of it. It hasn't irritated my skin or caused breakouts but I sampled the product at Sephora before purchasing. They also have a mini version of it for $15. Hope this helps!

RE: Best primer for acne prone skin

I personally feel like brands such as Glossier and milk have amazing primers for people who are worried about skin problems. Some moisturizers that are organic can be used as primers as well if you look into it . I would just make sure to look into the ingredients and less so for the reviews and claims of the product. Of course the reviews are important but you donโ€™t know unless you try it. Somebody elseโ€™s skin might break out over a product that works perfectly for you. If you are into organic primers I would recommend the 100% pure luminous primer. It even has really great reviews. It is vegan and is colored by fruits only. It is a little pricey however at 39 dollars but it definitely works. If you are not looking to spend that much money on a primer try the Ordinary which they have at Sephora. It has some great skin clearing ingredients in all of their primers and other products and it doesnโ€™t break the bank!! Anyway hope my opinion was helpful in your search for a primer.
