Week 19 - The (Mostly) Devil Wears Prada (2) Makeup CapsuleThe plan was to go with a bevy of looks inspired by characters from the sequel but I started not feeling so great (not allergies) Sunday evening so we're hitting pause on that and keeping things simple on the makeup front. But, in an ode to the film, we have a capsule featuring mostly Prada with a hint of Dior - I mean, Emily Charlton does start off the film at Dior, after all. Primer is my skincarePrada Micro-Correcting Blurring Concealer with Peptides on a few dark spots and to even my complexion across my cheeks and cover some redness around my noseSetting with DIOR Forever Natural Velvet Matte Compact Foundation (mine is from a palette that I depotted) - part of my Pan It! - 2026 Challenge and that I hit pan on last month! 🙌Needing a little color to make up for feeling wiped out so it'll be Prada Touch Cream-To-Powder Soft Blur Longwear Blush P71 Bow DIOR Rouge Dior Contour No-Transfer Lip Liner Pencil - one of the best long-wearing formulas on the market - creamier than Tom Ford imo. Pictured is shade 100 a neutral pink. I have multiple shades and will rotate between this and a true neutral/nude shadeLips are all Prada and from a variety of collections within the line, some full sizes, some refills and some gwps, all lovely. Prada Hydrating Lip Balm with Jojoba Oil U010 Maple Prada Prada Monochrome Soft Matte Blur Lipstick B106 CARAMEL Prada Hydrating Lip Balm with Jojoba Oil 000 Universal Prada Hydrating Lip Balm with Jojoba Oil U013 Guava Prada Prada Reflection Glossy Liquid Lip Balm U002 Banana Yellow Prada Prada Reflection Glossy Liquid Lip Balm B201 Chocobot My current go-to has been the Guava balm topped with the Banana gloss. If I want a more precise look, I'll like my lips.Fragrance: I'll likely pass on fragrance this week; if I change my mind, I will, in keeping with the theme, reach for my sample Prada fragrances. The scent on the lipsticks has been a little much the last couple of days - that's more to do with my allergies and whatever it is I'm fighting. The scent on this is noticeable but I can usually tolerate it. The banana scent on the lip gloss is fine, different from the scent on the lipsticks, which is heavily floral. Just going to keep it in this adorable little Prada shopping bag. Everything looks so nice in it and the bag seems to have found a spot on the table top already. 😉 If I were to amp up the look, I'd include a couple of the Prada eyeshadow palettes, using some colors as eyeshadow and some as bronzer. I *may* break open the Prada mascara, too. Here's hoping I can give my other TDWP2 inspired ensemble a wear later this week, maybe Thursday or Friday? 🤞 If I do, I'll put it up on The Fit, The Fab and The Face: Outfit and Inspo Thread

New foundation stick is coming 5.12. Considered medium-to-full buildable coverage that is weightless, smooth and natural according to Jones Road. They contain ceramides, squalane and shea butter. On their site, in all JRB stores and Liberty London May 12th.
