My absolute favorite red lipstick is from the drugstore ! Cherries in the snow by Revlon. It's so perfect! It's a blue-red with a bit of deep pink and it's so pretty. I try so many and always go back to that!

Go for a deeper red, or a reddish purple. If you get a orangish yellow it'll make your teeth look yellow because of the orange under tones

I find that any red lipstick that mentions “cherry” or “blue hue” in the name or description nearly always works out for me. Any red with even the slightest hint of coral, peach, brown, or orange will automatically send me running for my teeth whitening gel trays, because it superbly highlights any trace of yellow on my teeth. (Wow, my phone just autocorrected “teeth” as “feet” haha. Sure glad I caught that one!!) That doesn’t mean that I don’t wear peach or beige lipsticks, by the way. They’re fine on their own. But finding those hues in red is often not a good thing in my experience.

I feel this haha😂 I never wore red lipstick until recently, because i couldn't find anything flattering, until I tried Clinique's Matte Crimson [45]. It's really smooth and has a great classic red shade, and isn't too dry also!
