How do you keep a matte lipstick from drying out your lips? Mine end up cracked and raw feeling.

I like to use a tiny bit of fresh sugar lip serum before I apply my makeup. If you use a lip scrub first that's even better!!

Moisturizing your lips before applying the lipstick and keeping them hydrated is key. Applying a good amount of eos lip balm usually does the trick for me.

I used some lip balm before I put matte lip stick or liquid lipstick，that will help a lot not get drying

Exfoliate and use a wax based balm under usually does the trick for me!

Exfoliate before applying the lipstick.  I follow up with a light coat of eos lip balm (if the lipstick formula is extremely drying).

Definitely lip scrub--I like using honey and brown sugar. And I swear by the super moisturizing Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask, which I'll use before applying liquid lipstick (I blot before applying the lipstick) and then immediately after taking off the lipstick.

Use a lip scrub, if you don't have one you can make it by your self it's easy, and you must put on a lip palm after you finish scrubbing because you don't want the  situation to be worst 🤓

Some liquid lipsticks just have that weird over drying formula. But you definitely should prep your lips with a lip scrub and very nourishing lip balm.

Apply a light coat of lip balm before you use the liquid lip. Also another tip: use Aquaphor on your lips while your doing your make up and it gets rid of the cracks and imperfections because it's a healing balm.
