Bobbi brown crushed lip color

I just got my first Bobbi brown crushed lip color a couple of days ago. Love the color I got (Telluride), but the smell is a bit unusual. Not bad, but just a bit like plastic (?). Just wanted to check whether others had noticed this. If it's normal, I don't want to waste my time returning it! Thanks!

@RunningBlueCC   I bought these right when they first came out, and since then, and they all have this odd scent I can't quite describe; almost like the smell you get when you sharpen a pencil.  I experienced this with the lipsticks, not the liquid lipsticks.

Yeah, the smell is odd. It otherwise looks fine, but I am kind of bothered by the smell!

@RunningBlueCC, hi. The BB Crushed Lip Color should not smell like plastic. The lipstick has a mild fruity-like scent (that disappears once applied). I would definitely exchange it. I welcome you to bring your BB questions and interests to our group called Bobbi Brown Thread.

Thank you for replying! I will exchange it then. It's such a beautiful color that I definitely want it in my collection--but with a nice smell! 🙂
