Hey there, Beauty Insider Community! I wanted to start a post for all of us to have an ongoing conversation about one of my favorite parts of the beauty scene: Korean beauty (commonly known as “K-beauty” for short 😉)! When I first got into skincare, I was immediately attracted to K-beauty because I was fascinated by the idea of glass skin (a term used often in K-beauty, generally referring to skin that looks so luminous and flawless it could even be made of glass). I also thought that watching people use sheet masks in Korean dramas always looked like so much fun! Nowadays, I’m always on the lookout for good K-beauty finds at Sephora. i also have a lot of redness as well, and after extensive research, i found that ingredients such as centella, panthenol (B5) and green tea (camellia sinensis) seem to help a lot, especially with redness and dry patches. if you want to continue using COSRX, i'd recommend the centella blemish cream or the pure fit cica cream. i also love purito seoul's centella line, specifically the wonder releaf unscented serum, or the unscented toner.

DHC is pretty good, i also personally love:- anua heartleaf pore control cleansing oil - haruharu black rice cleansing oil i know it's not korean, but the kose softymo speedy cleansing oil (the pink bottle) is my current favourite

hi! i have a similar skin type to yours (combo sensitive skin), and i'd definitely recommend the round lab 1025 dokdo cleanser. i've been using it consistently for about a year and a half now, and it's helped so much with balancing out my skin and keeping oiliness under control. i don't necessarily have mature skin (i'm in my early 20s), but it has a gentle formula, and i find it to be very hydrating and non-stripping as well, and it helps a lot with renewing and maintaining a good skin barrier

i had a korean friend in college, she completely switched me to kbeauty brands (except dermalogica i still use them). I absolutely love skin 1004, suhlwasoo. and mediheal. and yes the cosrx esscence is great. For makeup peripera, 3ce, and hera are great she used only those brands and now i use a lot their lip products and skin tints 🙂
