I have combination, sensitive skin so we might favor different products. However, I know that Korean people with dry skin seem to really like Laneige Cream Skin and Cosrx Propolis Ampoule. I believe that you can get both on Amazon.com. I would suggest purchasing it from Amazon first. If you don't like it, you can always return it. I think that shops overseas do not have a good return/exchange policy.

So I’ve had this foundation/cc creme sample size in my collection for a little bit and decided to give it a try. I don’t typically wear foundation but I had some breakouts and wanted to try it out. I LOVED the look of it after I applied it. So smooth, I put it on my loves list immediately and was considering going to sephora tomorrow to grab some. When I came home from the bars, I had quite a few white heads on my face and this is the only new product on my face. Did anyone else have a breakout problem from this product?? I don’t have very sensitive skin. I haven’t ever opened it before but maybe it’s old? How does everyone else feel about it?

I recommend checking out any K-beauty brands (or J-beauty brands) that specifically have hyaluronic in it. They have sheet masks (Tony Moly, Etude House, Face Shop, Missha, etc) that tailor towards dry skin (they sell a variety of kinds but you'll want to stick to moisturizing), moisturizing cleansers and essences/serums too. My go-to brands are Etude House (they have non-stripping/drying toners that moisturize, check out the kinds they have, it'll list the skin care concerns) and Laneige (don't buy from Sephora, it's almost double the price!). Laneige has a water bank line (love the entire line and it's so hydrating and non-greasy!) and their water bank essence (it's a serum) is an HG product for me. They have a lip mask (another HG and any night I use it, regardless of how chapped my lips are, I wake up with plump and soft lips) and a water bank sleeping mask/pack. Make sure to use a good amount of either product and try to use the sleeping mask an hour or two before bed (or sleep on your back) so none of the product smears on your pillow.  They also have sleeping packs/masks from other brands that tailor towards dry skin. Give a look at Cosrx Snail 96 mucin that repairs and hydrates, any honey sleeping pack/masks too. I get a ton of my products from eBay (make sure to check the listings to see that its brand names and the origin where the products are made to make sure they are not knockoffs) and Yesstyle. It's so overwhelming, I know but search for products specifically made for dry skin, instead of looking for brands (there are just too many brands and it can definitely overwhelm). All of those items I listed above are suitable for oily skin too. I have an oily t-zone and dry cheeks and they work really well for me. They don't make me break out or produce more oil. Also, check out masks that have green tea in them since they'll balance your skin!  My routine: A.M: double cleanse (oil cleanser, cleanser), toner, serum/essences, eye cream, moisturizer/gel cream.P.M: double cleanse, toner, (optional: sheet mask. If using, you can skip serum as it doubles as one too), eye cream, moisturizer. OR, skip moisturizer and use a sleeping pack.  Hope all of this helps.

I'm lucky where I live (Edmonton) they have the Face Shop, Miniso, Daiso and I'm sure a few other K-beauty products. Also, some brands (like Etude House (love that brand!) ships straight from their webpage, so maybe check out to see if other k-beauty brands do the same? For the most part, I buy products on eBay as they are cheaper than some of the stores but you have to make sure they are authentic and not knockoffs (check the product listings: make sure the brand is listed and check the country where it's made). I also recommend Yesstyle like some others have recommended. If you google it, they do have k-beauty monthly subscription boxes that I want to try but haven't yet. Don't buy any Laneige products from Sephora (or any k-products! And don't buy their sheet masks (so overpriced)), they are almost double in price! I bought the grapefruit Laneige lip mask from Sephora during their Rouge sale and then I checked Yesstyle and eBay and I'm kicking myself for paying so much. I plan on buying other kinds/flavours from different retailers. Definitely check out the other recommendations from other commenters. I hope this helps!

I would never recommend any skin whitening products. If you want to even out your colour, you could fake tan your body so it matches your face better. You should also be wearing sunscreen daily, which will help prevent your face from getting darker.

I have dark brown hair and brown eyes and pale skin. Typically, if I wear brown/golden eyeshadow, it looks too much all the same tone. It really depends on your skin tone and the your undertone. Are you more pink or yellow? I have a heavily pink undertones, so cool colors and light pinks usually look best on me. Blues, purples, and silvers tend to be my go to colors, followed by pink and green. I constantly try to work light brown and skin tones to try and create a “soft” or “natural” look, but most of the time it just makes me look like I have no dimension.

You can try a more viscous toner. Hadalabo is a popular brand for those types of toners. Also, currently, the Hanyul Rice Essential Skin Softener is popular in Korea. It has a viscous consistency and endearingly nicknamed the "mucus toner". I know that it sounds gross, but that is an accurate visual description of the consistency... Also, you can try using a heavy moisturizer. Gel moisturizers are generally geared toward people with oily skin. When I was on Accutane, L'Occitane Comforting Cream really helped.  In addition, maybe you should switch to a cream cleanser. It seems that you are using the Aveeno Daily Scrub. It may seem gentle enough, but the microbeads can cause irritation and dryness. Maybe you can use the daily scrub in the evenings for a deep cleanse/exfoliation and use a gentle cleanser in the mornings. Personally, I love La Roche Posay's Toleriane Hydrating Cleanser.
