Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

A thread for updates on the Rewards Bazaar, including previews of upcoming rewards and discussion regarding the upcoming rewards and questions.

New rewards are posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays - usually right around 9 am PST / 12 pm EST

General information:

• The Rewards Bazaar is supposed to have new point perks released on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 5pm PST
• There is no set time for the perks to be released - we have to wait and see when they become available between 9 and 5
• However, so far the rewards have been released almost exactly around 9 am PST
  There seem to be only a few perks added at a time (each day)
• Some perks will be listed as "coming soon" and may arrive on a later date
• The newly added perks will range from 100 points to 50,000 points
  Sephora's T&C state that the larger perks (750 points +) are only available online
• The smaller 100-500 point perks are available in store, while supplies last There are limited quantities of the perks available
• We aren't sure why the rewards seem to appear on different devices/browsers at different times There may not be any "big" point perks added.
• Some days we may only see smaller 100, 250, or 500 point perks added.

@Aaliaa, which reward did you get?  The 2000pt Benefit one?  I scored one of those, and actually went for my appt today.  It was good - my only beef is the tote bag they included in the reward posting is MIA.

I got the 500 point reward. It included 3 mini-mascaras and a visit for a wax and tint at the brow bar. I haven't been yet, but good to know you liked yours.

@Aaliaa The benefit brow bars do all facial waxing and they tint eyebrows. It's pretty neat if you've never had it done there before, they take a brow pencil and draw on where your brows should be according to face shape etc and the one I used to go to would take a pic each visit to show my progress in achieving the perfect brow. It's just grossly expensive so I stopped going.

Thanks @GG84, yeah I wouldn't pay $25 to get my eyebrows shaped, I paid $3 a few days ago and they didn't over pick my brows to get them "perfect". I rarely find point perks over a 100 that interest me, so I went fo this one. I'm going to keep it for an 'emergency' shaping, because I'm always too lazy to get them done and I work and live near a Sephora (believe me, this is not a good thing). Thanks for the tip, I know what I like, but it would be interesting to see my brows drawn in based on my face shape.

@Aaliaa I think the Brow Bar only does brow shaping?

I think it depends on the brow bar, but they also do brow tinting, styling (!?!) as well as facial waxing. I got it as at least I'll use the service and haven't tried any of the benefit Mascara's before. @Mochapj

So I called about my KVD reward and was told it should be shipping March 12, and the lady on the phone said she thinks the packages will have an extra gift to make up for the hassle/wait :).

So yesterday was the 12th - did anybody get a shipping notification for their brush? I haven't heard a thing from Sephora since I got the recall notice for my original shipment.

I meant to call them - I'll do it in the morning and see what they say. It seems like they tell people different info sometimes *sigh*. Also while $10 is nice (I did not receive an email yet) I think it's a little paltry seeing how it's over a month late. I think a full sized KVD lippie in our choice of color would be a cool "we're sorry" gift. Something beats nothing though :).

Ok so I called and the guy I talked to said he didn't know anything about when they would ship etc. So when I brought up the date @sabrinas had mentioned suddenly he remembered that he had heard that they were supposed to ship out soon. I got no information on an apology gift or an email with a GC. I wish everyone would get on the same page when it came to the CS department. I mean they are the Rewards Dept program, and there's not that many brush rewards - how hard is it to send everyone an email or memo so they can all tell us the exact same thing.

@sabrinas I emailed them about mine, and I got almost the exact same email that I received when they recalled the last shipment as a response. Then I got another email with a $10 coupon code, so maybe that's the gift?

it might be. but I got the same email and I didn't redeem that reward. the email seems like something their sending out to say sorry for the delivery blunders.
