Sephora PRO Custom Face Chart

Did anyone here get the Sephora Pro Face Chart the last time it was offered? It seems like it will be offered this month again and I want to hear from someone's experience. I want to know if it was worth it given the misunderstanding with the Marc Jacobs Custom Face Chart experience. What exactly do they mean by customized and is ti really worth it?

Hah! I also got the dryer gift card and agree, had no issue there. Got it within a week and a half, no hassle and it was sent UPS, which I liked. @Juliana11

Update @Kim888 @Juliana11 Quick update- Sephora was awesome about transferring the face chart to my niece as a birthday present, however she's only into winged liner with highlighting, so after a month of back and forth, she didn't think it was for her & I used the reward, as originally intended. Last night I submitted photos with no makeup & filled out a questionnaire for the artist about my current style, makeup, brands, colors, whether I want something new & different, if I have a special feature I want to play up, and that was it. Super easy. Now just waiting for the chart. 🙂

Thanks for the update! I filled out the questionnaire and sent photos on September 28 and this morning received an email that my reward will be cancelled if I do not fill it out by the end of day.

 

I'm a little worried and annoyed by this whole experience. Especially not even a day notice. I hope your experience ends up better than mine


Edit: They send it was sent by mistake... hopefully I get it sooner rather than later

@ijcb The original email said "You should receive your completed look in 5-6 weeks from October 10th." Today marks week 5 so hopefully within the next 7 days!

Ugh! Talk about adding insult to injury. I really hope you got it squared away with them. I was surprised by how accommodating they were with me for a full month after their stated October expiration date. (Not sure why the rush.) Edit: I just noticed your update & I'm glad it was an email they sent by mistake. Hopefully these charts will be useful or even inspirational and we're not just serving as examples for others. Ha!

I'll def share. I wanted to get it done ASAP since they waited a full month for me to confirm who was using it, so I filled out the questionnaire late one night and sent them the funniest photo for no makeup in natural light. I'm sure they were like WTH?!

We have two threads about Custom Face Charts going in the Rouge & Insider Communities, but they don't seem ideal for wanting to share what's involved with a redeeming a reward with little information about it. Does anyone know how to move or consolidate these threads (tagging?) into one place that would most fitting and easily found by others? I mainly use the app, so navigation is a bit clunky. Thanks for any help!

I got one too cause I figured it would at least make good artwork for my room.

I heard that in the package you get a code for a survey where you can customize things. Then you get the actual chart 5-6 weeks later . I’m sorry to hear about your experience 😞 I would’ve been super mad too

Mine hasn't shipped yet, but I think what we'll receive first are instructions. There's no way they could do anything "personalized" without at least a photo, if not input. That really sucks that they changed your artist. (I chose mine based on their description.)

I can’t imagine why they would mail out instructions rather than reach out by email but I will update when I receive the package. Hopefully by Thursday!

@Juliana11 @NatureGirlSD is right, that's how they always do it.. Kind of a waste of packaging, in my opinion.
