Decadent December Hauls 2019!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Time to show us what kind of beautiful holiday hauls that you've been able to pick up, or what lovely presents Santa may have left for you ;). With all the wonderful sales and gorgeous makeup to be had it's time for Happy Haulidays! As we round out 2019 let's send the year out with a bang (that hopefully you got with your bucks). So... I did some emotional shopping this last month.  I find I normally do pretty good these days at being more conscious of what I'm purchasing (my collection has outgrown it's home too many times to count and I've been better this last year or two with the exception of masks...opps).  I took pictures of things and having looked at it all in boxes on my floor because I have no room is giving me a reality check.  Must do a declutter this week to make space for things I love and want to use.

the two items I purchased for my 25$ off 75 were both disappointing. The CT powder darkens my skin tone, and the MJ eye palette just isn't my jam.Time to do a load up to help out my body stay away from getting too dry. Going to try some snail on my body since I love it on my face so much. I also couldn't resist the Coffee cup masks.I can't recall who, but someone here suggested the innisfree balms when I asked about tinted balms on the question thread. Going to try out them, the Kiehl's and the Dior lip oil to help satisfy my sheer balm type obsession.I purchased a few drug store recommendations from Dr. Dray to try out. The LM caviar sticks are a new find and I'm enjoying the ease, so I figured why not grab a full shadow palette that I don't need too! I grabbed the Foreo mini toothbrush... Not too sure how I feel about it yet, it doesn't give me that good scrub that I get from a traditional bristle. Is this just cause I got the kids version? The adult one looked so big.I've had a thing in my head about Kiehl's so you'll see the brand repeated a few times. I need to see if the allure is just in my head. PM tinted balm... I've been looking forever, need to try out more. Lots of tanning products for my pale skin for the summer. Wipes to go into my truck and onto the boat for when showers just aren't possible but I need a freshening.I go through a lot of sunscreen. Stocked up for myself when I placed an order for my SO to put on his boat. Blue Lizzard is a favourite for both of us as we can easily reapply and the mineral formula doesn't get in your eyes when you're sweating in the sun.Splurged on a new Beauty Blender after testing other brands for a year or so. Sparkly pigments to go with my face painting kit, the TF Velvet Orchid was part of a SDM haul using points (WooHoo for free TF!), The Bare Republic sunscreen has sparkles. I'm not normally a shimmer gal, but I went with the urge. I'm not a big supporter of "influencer brands" but have heard my bestie promoting the morphie setting spray enough that I need to try it. The PM lippies are a purchase after my secret Santa @sportygirly125 gifted me a full size that I fell in love with. And I'm not really that into HK but... here we are with more masks and hand creams.

I'm determined to figure them out @curlychiquita , just gotta figure out how... the powder deepens way too much for my under eyes.  And maybe I just need to embrace different shadows?

girl! 🛍 I love every one of your lippie purchases. Literally every one of them. 💗  Those are some great choices! You can’t go wrong with having a supply of SPF - it’s one of the best skincare products ever! 😃 As for masks ... you know I’m a fan. Nice finds here, especially the coffee mask! Enjoy all your goodies! 🤗

@missjeanie I feel like we haven't discussed watching Dr. Dray before - here's to us being similar again! 🙂 Is the blue lizard your everyday sunscreen or activity sunscreen? The reapplication thing if I'm wearing any makeup is where I struggle. But for sports and outdoor things, I good about reapplying (or attempting to through the sweat) regularly.

@ShortErica @I use the blue Lizzard for activities. I like mineral sunscreens when I’m getting sweaty so they don’t run in my eyes. I Wish it came in a higher spf, but I do reapply every couple hours. 
if Im wearing make up I’ll give myself spritzes with the ulta setting spray spf, or with a powder spf. I also have a darker powder I use for my hair part if I’m out without a hat.

I sit in an office but I really need to get in the habit of reapplying. That makes sense you use it for activities @missjeanie

Same here @ShortErica , I’m in finance at a post secondary institution and I’m inside all day (this time of year I go to work in the dark and sometimes come home in the dark) 😞. But I’m hoping to try some new powder sunscreens this year!

@ShortErica I only discovered Dr. Dray maybe mid summer?  I really enjoy all of her skincare advice.  I don't have the science background but I appreciate her teaching.  I really enjoy her advice over some other you tubers who just shill the newest product sent in their direction.

Awesome haul @missjeanie  so many pretty things !!!

I spy the dry shampoo set that sold out on first day of sale within few hours when I was on flight. I even bought the flight wi-FI, I wanted it so bad 😄😄 but the damn wi-fi didn’t work at all, couldn’t even get the checkout page to load. I should ask the airlines for refund.

@naturalooks15 I don't even need dry shampoo... I have three or four full cans that should last me a year.  But I couldn't not buy the set when it went on sale.  Too good of a deal for these guys!

I never used to use dry shampoo and been giving the DS away that I used to get in sub/boxes. Recently I had to use it few times and my younger one also since she leaves home at 6 am for school bus, I found use for it and liked the living proof DS sample I I finished. I am on hunt for a set to try out few different ones, esp the IGK charcoal. 

This set is the best because all of them are usable/ with good reviews. Other one has Morrocan for blond hair plus a foam which has really bad review.
