P.S. I didn't get the damn Rouge 15% off code, either, and LUCKYDAY didn't work for me when I saw it here and tried it. I never seem to receive the Rouge codes, but I have a friend who has gotten a coupon every few months this year!
Well this is awkward.. 😞 why you let me down Sephora?
This LUCKYDAY promo code was such a disaster. I didn't get the email (even though I am a Rouge (probably 2-3 times over again this year). When I tried to chat with customer care they just gave me canned responses. I called the Rouge hotline and after about 20 minutes they "agreed" to place the order for me. Unfortunately, if they do that I can't use ebates. I just decided to not place an order at all. I don't NEED anything.. I will keep that $300 in my pocket. Is Sephora TRYING to alienate their customers??

Last night, when i tried this code- it worked for me. I never got any emails regarding it either - saw it on trendmoods Instagram feed and went on Sephora right away - and that's when it worked. I got my cart ready so i could make the purchase in the morning and now its saying that its select members only....so yep. pretty bummed out.
Interesting; I wonder if it did work for everyone last night and today it was pulled back. My friend and I checked out yesterday; but the one who it didn't work for tried it this AM.
Doesn't work for me online but I will try in store. At the very least, I'll be with my sister whose a vib and doesn't shop as much as me. I'll ask her to try it out too.

I showed the picture to employee and she sad that I can use it, but she wasn't able to use it because the system sad I'm not qualified! I felt terrible in that moment😡
I don't know why I find this hilarious. I guess I've been through this and I know there is no real "methodology" to how they did this. I didn't get the e-mail either, however, I saw the code on Instagram, tried it, and it worked. I texted a friend, it worked for her too, however, another one of our friends couldn't use it this AM. The three of us are Rouges from re-qualifying in 2016. I already Rouged for 2018, and the other two have not. It worked for one, and not the other... so no rhyme or reason here. It just is a lucky day for some apparently. (Don't shoot the messenger... I get it) 🙂
I can't help but laugh anytime something like this happens as well. At this point, I just sort of expect there to be issues with any big promo Sephora releases, whether it be targeted or general. The internet and sharing info has made this sort of marketing very difficult for companies. I wasn't going to make a purchase anyway (and I did not get the email, the the way).
I'm a rouge and I got nothing. Code didn't work for me. My mom is a regular BI, with only having spent $40 in her entire life at Sephora, LoL. However, she got the email for 15% off. She's not going to use it. My guess is that they are sending it to people who don't spend much money at Sephora to motivate them to buy more?
"luckyday" My behind. This is absurd, I'm always buying and yet I'm not good enough to get a discount code? Lol. What's weird is that I was able to apply it online but I decided to sleep on it to see if I still wanted the product in the morning and I couldn't use it anymore, saying only select users can.
With Sephora it is definitely a "you snooze, you lose" situation 😡 I had the hourglass reward in my cart yesterday and couldn't check out fast enough, I waited until the Girls & Boys got released to use the LUCKYDAY promo instead of getting the other items I wanted as well, and nada again. I am a staunch and stalwart Sephora cheerleader, but my pompoms are definitely losing their spirit 🥀
yeah i lost out on the hourglass which is the only thing that has called out to me since the kvd points i spent.
How are they 'selecting' the people who get this? Really bad move on Sephora's part!
