What is the Beauty Insider Reward Card?
The Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer is a holiday promotion offering Beauty Insiders a reward card for $15 off of any merchandise purchase of $50 or more, Very Important Beauty Insiders (VIBs) $20 off of any purchase of $50 or more, and VIB Rouge clients $25 off of any purchase of $50 or more. Beauty Insiders can use their reward card from 12/2 - 12/13 and VIB and Rouge clients can use theirs from 12/2 - 12/14.
How do I get my offer if I’m a Beauty Insider but haven’t received my 2016 Holiday Reward Card yet?
The holiday reward cards will start being emailed to Beauty Insiders, VIBs, and Rouge clients on December 2nd. If you have not received your reward card by December 3rd, please check your email's spam folder to see if it was filtered there. You can also call us at 1-877-737-4672 to verify your account status. Representatives are available to assist you from 6am to 9pm PST Monday-Friday and 8am to 7pm PST Saturday and Sunday.
How do I enter my reward card on Sephora.com?
Can I add my reward card to my Passbook?
Yes, you have the option to add your reward card to your Passbook on your mobile device from your reward card email. You must be opted into our emails to receive your reward card email.
When do the reward cards expire?
The BI $15 off reward card is good on all merchandise purchases from December 2 – December 13. The VIB $20 / VIB Rouge $25 reward card is good from December 2 – December 14. VIBs / Rouge get one extra day to shop.
Can I use my Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer online and in stores?
Yes, the holiday Reward card can be redeemed one time either online or in store.
Can you combine my Beauty Insider reward card with my regular Gift Card?
No, the cards cannot be merged.
Can I use more than one Beauty Insider reward card?
No, the cards cannot be combined.
Can I split up my Reward Card into two transactions?
No, the entire reward card value must be consumed in one transaction.
Can I use my Reward Card more than once?
No, the holiday promotional reward card is a one-time-use-only reward card valid for one shopping transaction at any U.S. and Canadian Sephora store, online, or Sephora Inside JCP only.
Can I combine my Reward Card with another promotional discount?
No, the holiday reward card may not be combined with any other promotional discounts.
Is there a minimum spend with the Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer?
Yes, the reward card can only be redeemed with a merchandise purchase $50 or higher.

If you are a Canadian and received a promo code call the rouge line. Apparently there is a gc and pin on file? I am still very confused about the conversation but they gave me a gc # (barcode from your email) and PIN. You need the PIN to make it work. I don't understand what they were saying about those of us who got a promo code email but anyways... want the GC # and PIN call...
Just wish they were consistent and provided proper information.
Why is Canada getting the shaft AGAIN! I WANT AN ANSWER! We have the ability to enter gift cards now... why is ours a promo code and not GC in the gift card section like the US???? I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same treatment since the Sephora system itself lumps North America together. They offer US and Canada the same promotions, we can use our accounts on both systems, so why do we get treated differently when there's no technical or legal reason for it?
In the past, we got the promo code instead of a GC because they didn't accept GCs online but they finally resolved that a few months ago.
I don't see where Sephora mistreats Canadians. The promotions are not always equal but Sephora tries to keep them that way as much as possible. They go both ways. Sometimes it is better in CAN and others in US.
Nonetheless, it is not always running the same.
The 20% Sale in-store event was discontinued a year earlier in US.
It is also not equal in US. Sephora mostly holds their events and rewards either in LA or NYC!
This is something that needs to be fix!

I'm not gonna go through the list... but in this case we have the option to use gift cards this year meaning we should all get a gc number and PIN... now looks like some people did while others got the promo code.... Yea, it is a lot of little things and hopefully some changes (for the better) are coming in 2017 for both US & CAN!!!!
Last year, I didn't get my $25/$50 code. A SiJCP manager actually called the hotline and got me one. They emailed it to me and later on I was able to place an online order.
This year I got on the mailing list and it has been MUCH better!

Just not fair for the Canadians that will get the promo code and they don't know about the fact that we can use that promotion in gc format. I just take issue with that.
And all the little things that are different that should be the same add up to a pile of poo haha... I get somethings are different and can't be changes for xyz reason but some should be the same... just years of small things adding up that should be fixed.

Mine got dumped in August 2015. I had to call for the Epic coupon, $25/$50 coupon and while shopping 20% sale in-store they would request the email/code and since I didn't have it the manager would have to get involved and it was a huge deal at the register.
When I used to call they would 'change the settings' to add me to the emails.
Then I read something on here about changing my email and once I did that.....I started receiving all my emails in 2016.
For those not getting emails.....changing the email is worth a try.
@Anonymous that's interesting about the email... See that's another thing I don't get about the 20% sale... if they can see your account at the register why do they need the email? Like you said you didn't have it that year... why this whole big thing when they can just look up your status???. Stuff like that makes me smh. lol
@veronika23 V, I got my email this morning and for Canada it's actually a gift card - not a promo code. I think the terms above are copy and pasted from last year?
Also, our gift card appears to be worth $25 USD so it's more in CAD.

Like a few others, I'm also a Canadian who got the gift card + pin, and it look $33 off my order too! However, I do think they fixed something so that we can't use the gift card and a promo code. When I tried to check out online, it said that "the holiday reward card cannot be used with a promotion code".
A slight disappointment since my order was actually over $100 and I tried to also use the VIB 10%, which would've made the deal slightly better, but I guess Sephora has to stick to their unofficial rule of "give Canadians the shaft"
Maybe it's the actual promo code you were trying to use that was the problem? When I checked it was fine with a cream deluxe sample.
That makes sense, @veronika23 I guess I'll never know for sure now that I've already placed the order, haha.
I really hope that in the future, Sephora will give GC's to all Canadian customers- now that we have them online, there's no reason why it can't be a GC.

@lellybelly I just placed my order with the gc and was able to get a deluxe sample... I wanted to wait a bit to see what minis are coming in the next days... I think I have an idea of what's coming but not sure which days and there are some I want lol.
I hope it will be GC's in the future too! I don't understand why it wasn't that for everyone....

Seems like it really is inexcusable that Canada wouldn't receive a gift card by default, since this worked just fine.

I got mine this morning and it is a promo code. I will try to use it in the gift area, but mine definitely states that it is a unique "Promotion code"
