I totally understand Mocha! What I want to buy is not available on .ca .When I called the Rouge line first a Male Rep attended call. He kept insisting to place my order over the phone or give me a code. When I told him what I want to buy isn't available online so I need an email. He told me to hold and instead of coming back he connected me to the after call survey. Well his bad.... I called again and a girl attended call. I told her about my conversation with male rep and she also pressed me to place order on phone. Again I told her I want an email. She placed me on hold and came back pretty rude with the statement. "You will get your email when the emails will be sent out to rest of the Rouge customers. We don't have a time to give you. You need to wait" Huh really? like VIBs get emails earlier and Rouges will get when they get. I received the email that night though.
Wow, the CS is so spotty this time of year.
even the responses people have been given about when to wait until is not consistent.
I just hit rouge last month and I received a regular VIB code..
My husband still hasn't gotten his. He's taking it as a hint to go buy my Christmas gift somewhere else...
I just called the Rouge line to ask about mine and got the they are still being sent out line.
She would not give me a code to use, and just said I could call back after tomorrow to place an order if I still don't get one.
Hmm, geniuses, but what about if the thing I want is OOS online and only available in store? What then???
Fark.
wow.. i hadn't realized that they were actually still sending out these codes.
I hope if you don't get the code overnight that tomorrow they just give you the code and whatever you want is still in stock!
I called twice and emailed twice this week. No help whatsoever. Mentioned that via Facebook message and received my (working) GC information within 24 hours. Worth a shot!
Although I do agree with others, the thing I wanted is out of stock too.
I'm Rouge through next December.. so I likely won't be renewing beyond that.
I'm laughing cause what about our extra day to shop as Rouges? Does getting our code late mean we have an extension on making up our minds?
I just called to see what they'd say. They say if I get an order ready I can call back and they can process it for me with the $25 off with a generic code, but she can't give me my own code cause I wasn't assigned one.
This! Was some head honcho for promotions fired or someone quit? It is just a comedy of errors this year for pretty much everything which is unacceptable for the #1 beauty retailer.
I think Nordstrom just became number one for me. Save for Mufe which I can get while travelling, Sephora lost its allure this year, three, no four times. I'm not even going to bother redeeming my 'gift card'. It's not a gift if you have to call and ask for it. The whole process of calling and asking for a gift is degrading.
Edit- I just deleted my credit card information since I will no longer be shopping there, I feel liberated.
I wish Nordstrom was on option for me, but unfortunately, the closest Nordstrom to me is 3 hours away and their online shopping isn't much of an option either even though it exists because for some reason all the prices for Canadians are higher than they would be if you were to visit a store. So for now Holt Renfrew is my top choice in terms of customer service. But slowly other retailers in Canada are expanding brand offerings, so Sephora needs to step it up and get with the program otherwise a good portion of their revenues are going to move to other retailers.
myxducky, I don't have a Nordies locally (yet) but there is an amazing SA I deal with from the Vancouver store who ships me whatever my heart desires.
2016 Toronto cannot come soon enough, though.
Sadly Nordstrom is on the no buy list since they sent me a used handbag and did not care and acted like I should expect that since it was on sale. I will be buying from direct sites and Ulta with the occasional Sephora order.
I love shopping at Nordstrom but my experience was from driving down to Bellevue. I wish the online store did free shipping and CDN prices that match in store prices. No exchange rate.
I don't work DT and it is such a pain with parking and traffic in DT van
I'm not DT either. I'm in Port Moody but our new skytrain station is opening soon so it'll be a lot easier to get down there.
I can usually use my womanly wiles and get my sweet hubs to come get me (cause I'm tired from shopping;))
