I have a feeling they arent since they were just sent a 30% off code and its not on the mailer like it always is. Plus the emails they were sending were telling people how much they needed to spend to hit VIB in order to participate in the sale @Anonymous7

Haha, I hope so @greeneyedgirl107. I had no idea about the 30% thing until scrolling this post. I had a random 15% off foundation email but that's it. I've been reading and agree with so many people saying their marketing team does not make very wise decisions in regard to these random promotions. It just leaves customers frustrated and confused.

@EllaSunshine  the 30% off makeup products was sent around 2 weeks ago to some accounts - from what I read to those who haven’t shopped at Sephora for a looong time (like years). It was just targeted promo for some accounts.

I am hoping to pick up: OLEHENRIKSEN - Let's Get Luminous™ Brightening Essentials Set and (can't tag it) Pat McGrath Luxe Trance in Beautiful Creature.  We'll see how the wallet looks on the 20th before making a purchase decision.

you can get the olehenriksen set for much cheaper on their website(if you're in US). I got mine for about 17$ shipped just last week.

All my purchases will be skincare or haircare related so I'm not too salty about the 30% off makeup promo sent out earlier, but I gotta say Sephora, not really killing it with your current promotional strategy. It really seems like your marketing team is just randomly throwing ideas out into the void without really considering their ROI or impact. I understand some ideas need to be empirically tested but using ALL of your customers as guinea pigs while trying to figure out the optimal discount frequency and percentage off is just...amateurish. 

Though if the re-released Nars original 12 shades lipstick in the red casing makes it to Sephora in time, I cannot help it if several shades come home with me 🙂

@MissPuff  I’ve been trying to limit my purchasing so I’ve stayed away from BIC a lot lately. It would have been nice to get a 30% off coupon considering how long I’ve been kicking around these halls. I would have used it to get a coveted Pat Mc Grath palette. Since I really need my staple SUNDAY RILEY - Space Race Fight Acne, Oil + Pores at Warp Speed Kit

thats what I’ll be getting. That and the new ABH x Jackie Aina palette. Unless Ulta has a 20% off at the same time. Becuase then I can get both for free combining my points and the discount.

@mermadelove  Lovely seeing you around here 🙂 I totally forgot about PMG, that would have been such a worthy 30% off! Which PMG? I can't wait for her holiday season stuff to drop, I can never justify a full-sized palette because I just don't use enough eye shadow, but that doesn't stop me from lusting 🙂

It feels like Sephora is having a bit of an identity crisis at the moment, I wonder if this year's change in CEO of Sephora Americas had anything to do with it?
