Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

It definitely depends on the month/which box you choose, @nellaluvsbeauty, and your budget. I think you have to be comfortable spending "x" and maybe not liking most of a box or trying a bunch of new things. So its about spending that money on a guaranteed thing you'll like versus on a bit of a gamble. They're a great value if you like the whole box, but even if you only like 2 out of 5, it's generally an okay deal.

Boxycharm Premium (April 2020, Festival Vibes)

I'm pretty happy with this. I did want the Farmacy Honey Potion since I love it so much, but of the palettes, this is the one I wanted the most, so that's super exciting. I'm glad I didn't get a Natasha Denona blush, so I'll try this cream, especially on my neck, since I'm starting to see some signs of aging. I chose the Peach and Lily toner and am super excited to try. I'm interested in trying the mascara too. Unfortunately the last two products are misses. I just don't need more brushes, especially random ones. And I hate lip gloss. So I'll pass these last two on. But between really wanting the palette and the toner, and being interested in trying the mascara and the cream, its pretty good.

@haleyvvvv That's a beautiful palette! I was so torn on all the palettes for last month. Although I love Farmacy, I was happy I received a palette instead. If it was still winter and if I received the honey potion I would have been ecstatic.

Thanks! This was definitely my first choice for palettes, but I would have largely been happy with any of them, @NinaNee.

Boxycharm April 2020 (Festival Vibes)

I'm fairly happy with mine. I feel like I lucked into most of the products I wanted. I really wanted the Makeup Eraser, and I got my choice of the Elemis serum, and the Iconic London illuminator drops are pretty. I'm indifferent to the primer, I'll pass it on, but it's one that definitely works. The brushes are meh.

Tribe Beauty Box (April 2020)

This box was curated so well. I love that almost everything was pink for spring. I really wanted the palette, so for me, the price of the box was worth it. The lip liners are so pretty. I've never tried a konjac sponge, so that's exciting. The highlighter is super pretty in the pan, is baked, and is huge. The lip plumper isn't for me, but overall this box was worth it for me.

Oh no, @KNC24!! I'm so sorry, that's super disappointing!! Your box looks ideal for me, with the Lavido and Farmacy, but disappointing if you wanted a makeup box. I feel like this month is a miss for a lot of people.

Another disappointing boxycharm. 😞 I received my pick of the cleansing. The sheet masks are better than the other filler products we usually get but I wanted the makeup eraser. I stopped using benefit products and I don't like lip gloss. The teens next door will enjoy those. I'm not sure if I want to keep the liquid highlight. I like it better than the Cover FX ones but I don't like liquid highlights. I forgot to switch to a month to month subscription so if I'm not happy with the next few, I will probably be cancelling.

@Lazybeautybeast   😂. The lipgloss was the only thing I’ll use from the exact same combo of items.  I feel like I’ve been trolled.   Next month HAS to be amazing after this month!
