Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

@ElleElleGYou may still be able to cop it rn. A few posts prior in this thread, someone said they just were getting ready to ship theirs and someone just subscribed to get this box. Maybe message person who just subscribed and see if they got in in time to get it&then go for it.haha 😉 🙂

i love my fabfitfun box. the jade roller will be in the next sale bc mine wasnt on there at the end i want it also. So they told me it would be on the next one if u ever need help getting stuff message me on there i usually can get anything besides the bum cream but i had to many migraines so I wasnt on as much as I usually am during a sale look me up under my name and PM me during the next sell and I'll have 2. I always try and help people get stuff and other ppl do also.

I wanted to share a bit about The Detox Box from The Detox Market. I signed up in January for a 6-month subscription when it was first available in Canada, and so far I have been very pleased!

I have mixed feelings on subscription boxes: I love (the idea of) surprises and trying new products, but at the same time I hate being disappointed and feeling like I wasted money on products I won't use. So I often have not had great experiences trying out different boxes. 

The Detox Box

Pros:

• The value is more than the cost
• It doesn't feel like you're getting "leftovers" or products that didn't sell well 
• Great packaging and information with each box. I really love the information about the founder of each brand, as well as the description of the products and how to use them. It's very helpful and printed out so nicely!
• Ships fairly quickly (and ships within Canada for Canadians!)
• Often includes full-sized products or decent sized miniatures
• Detox Market has included a sample or two with each box (from a different DM brand)

Cons:

• On the pricier side, so you really need to be committed to the box (ranges from $64.99/month to $57.99/month)
• You could end up with a whole box that you dislike, if that month features a brand you dislike

Past Boxes:

• January: Tammy Fender - this was one of my favourite boxes. I love the Epi Peel! 
• February: Skin Owl - this box was okay, but I didn't find anything I'd want to repurchase.
• March: Hynt Beauty - I just didn't find this box very exciting, and I actually haven't used the products yet.
• April: Osea - my biggest disappointment. I used the moisturizer for a while but ended up breaking out, unfortunately. I passed on trying the other products for now (and likely ever). 
• May: One Love Organics - I also really loved this box, which included two Vitamin C products. I'm really loving the body oil! It smells amazing.
• June: Province Apothecary - I'm exciting to try this one, as I'm still clearing up some of the breakouts from April (which didn't really pop up until the end of the month/early May). This one included a nice balm and a treatment oil, along with a cleanser and toner.

Thanks for the thorough review @lachaton !  I don't know if I've seen this box listed on the areas I usually look for spoilers but if so that may be helpful in determining which boxes to sign up for.

@sonnydee Thanks for the spoilers. It kinda looks like Clinique was the featured sneak peek than Too Faced. I like Take The Day Off makeup remover though. I was hoping for the new foundation to launch.
