Shiseido MicroLiner Ink Eyeliner 

ROSE INC Satin Lip Color Refillable Hydrating Lipstick in Intuitive and Demure...I bought the refills because they're cheaper.   Upon opening they look too ruddy for my taste and rather different than online.  Don't look that satin-y either.

 

This'll probably be listed on Poshmark or gifted away.  Any idea on a price point for Posh?

@eshoe I am very curious about the brand. I didn't like their overnight product,  but it's the only one I've ever tried.

@greeneyedgirl107  My only Rose Inc. lipstick (shade Hypnotic) does have a satin cream finish, though I get why you’d think these bullets aren’t satin just by looking at them: they do look more like mattes or demi-mattes in the tube. 😄 They just have a weirdly thick consistency, like @Sunnysmom said. And Hypnotic is quite streaky and hard to even out, though that might be a problem with just this particular shade. I honestly should’ve returned it, but I was determined to find a way to make it perform better. That hasn’t happened yet. I don’t wanna discourage you from trying at least one of the 2 you bought, though. You might have better luck with them.

@WinglessOne input is always welcomed.   I really don't think they'll work for me, so I'm not even going to try.  I haven't had many returns to Sephora this year, so I'm not worried about TRE...but it did spark a question: does TRE care if a cosmetic is returned used or not?  I'm guessing a return is a return to them.

@greeneyedgirl107  I doubt TRE cares if a return is used or not. Even if a cosmetic product’s returned unused, the retailer will (or should) toss it, so it’s a loss to the retailer regardless. So you know, you might as well try one of those lipsticks just to see what the formula’s like, if nothing else. 🙂 I mean, neither TRE nor Sephora really cares (or should* care) if a product’s used or not.

*I keep using the word “should” in parentheses because I’ve received obviously used products from Ulta via online order a couple times. Last time was a lip gloss I ordered during the pandemic. Gross. 

Still, I’m glad you’re in the safety zone (whatever that actually is; I wish consumers knew exactly how many returns are allowed a year, as that would spare many of us some stress and frustration) for Sephora returns.

After reading your post @greeneyedgirl107, I couldn’t remember why I have not worn my ROSE INC Satin Lip Color Refillable Hydrating Lipstick Persuasive in awhile so I tried it on. It was extremely drying so I understand your reluctance.

@Loretta55 it's a shame because no sooner had I discovered them when they went on sale,  so I was doubly excited.   Idk when I'll even be able to were lippies again - masks are back at my workplace.

Nice buys @greeneyedgirl107 . I found the Rose lip shades to be tricky compared to online as well. They’re quite a thickish formula aren’t they.
