@makeitup305, hmmm… 🤔 Do you usually find that fragrances last a shorter period of time with a smaller sample? Is there a store near you that carries the new Gucci scent (and has a tester of it) that you could stop by to test out?

@itsfi Idk if I've always found that to be true but I noticed it with PHLUR Missing Person Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz/ 50 mL eau de parfum spray . For some reason the more I wore it, the more I could smell it on myself after a while. I will give it a good sniff and test before purchasing or I might wait to maybe try it in a holiday set.

Good eyes @missjeanie! Yes, Gucci lipsticks are on the list, but I'm not sure if I should pick up anything other than the restock items. What to do? What to do?!!! 😂 

I really was minding my own business the other day when I was in the store. The plan was simple - go inside to pick up my BOPIS order - all gifts for other people. How was I to know that the BOPIS orders for that particular store was in a drawer very, very close to the Gucci display. I mean, what are the odds, right?! I didn't want to stand idly by while they were looking for my order 😅 so I just made myself useful, straightening out product, turning the liquid lipsticks just so, so that the Gucci name on each one was facing just so. Hahahaha! Then I saw them ... these beauties ... 😍

After seeing them, I haaaaaad to swatch them. I mean, they were right there and then my arm was right there and it hadn't been used for any swatches yet ...

Gucci Long Lasting Satin Lipstick 219 - Mary Mauve

I feel like I have Call It A Day, but in a different formulation. At this point though, it really is anyone's guess if I pick up one shade, or all four, during the sale. 😂🤣😂 No, I really should stick to one, but we both know that should and will are two different things ...

@itsfi Love this!!  I mean.. one good deed of straightening up a display deserves a reward of a lippie or two!  I have 'Call it a Day' in the Glow and Care line... and it's one of my most used bullets.  I find that shade can work with anything I'm wearing makeup or clothing wise.  Such a good one.  Mary Mauve is in my basket for the Friends and Family sale right now... Gucci got lips right.

Yes @missjeanie! 👊🏼 Call It A Day is such a pretty shade that pairs well with so many looks; I like the Glow and Care line too. What am I saying, I pretty much like all the Gucci lip formulations. 😉 Happy to know that Mary Mauve will be a new addition to your lipstick family.

Or what about … I don’t know … 20?! 😆 Yeah, I read somewhere (most likely The Beauty Look Book??) that when these were released there were / are some shades available at different stores and some only at Gucci. I’ll try to look for the article this weekend; will tag you if I find it. Errr, just so you have all the info; not to enable of course. Of course not. 🤪

Or maybe @ChristalM, it would be a good way of scientifically concluding which brand (and formulation, packaging, color) suits your current style more? I mean, you want to be objective about that, don't you? How else is that supposed to happen if you don't buy the lipsticks?!! 😂 

Speaking of Hermes & Gucci, I feel like an eyeshadow palette from both houses would be a nice addition to the lineup - a first for Hermes and for Gucci, perhaps one with a different style than the two currently in their collection - I think there are just the 2, unless you count that mixed quad (?) that is/was only available through certain stores like Saks?
