Notorious November Hauls 2022

November is here (Well almost here) which means the official holiday shopping season and the month when most of us shop more than rest of the year. 
May it be what you shop during Sephora’s Beauty Insider sale or anything else you haul for yourself or for gifting. Show and tell here and enable us all.

Neat haul @Samtian . I have never heard of the Dermaflash Pore Extractor. It sounds like something I could benefit from. Cant wait to hear about your thoughts and experiences with it.

Slightly haul related…. Covid inspired me to really shop my stash, declutter what needed to go, and make some more ”sensible” choices (spoiler: as it turns out, sensible really isn’t my style). I moved in early 2021, and became so mindful about the volume of stuff I owned. Not going into work or out anymore really changed my daily beauty habits. Between that and my shop my stash, I haven’t officially made rouge since 2019/benefits lasting through 2020. I didn’t think I was going to make it this year either, but then I got this email this morning… these Q4 hauls really are taking me across the finish line this year! But everyone’s recommendations are so good, that all my purchases have been basically hits!!

@cianni  Omg! So close! I totally get it. I have been shopping my stash and trying to use up foils and DS.

@ather i find foils so hard to go through for some reason! i like to bring them with me on short trips to reduce the amount of things i bring (especially shampoo/conditioners! my hair doesnt usually like whatever is provided by a hotel), but i never reach for them at home!

@cianni  I actually do the same. I’m going away next week and all I have packed is foils. But more because I don’t want to loose my full sizes. I also bring my hair ones because I agree. The ones provided are never great. I also like to bring perfume samples too

@ather i learned the hard way about bringing too many items... not too long ago i was in an airport that had very strict liquids rules. i knew everything had to be less than 100ml, but they were enforcing "only liquids that fit in this clear bag" policy, and some of my items had to be confiscated 😞 luckily i had brought a few straggler items that only had a use or two left, because i was only gone for a couple days, but i definitely learned my lesson about packing light!

@cianni  Oh no that’s the worst!!! I travelled home last summer with my son who then was 3 and I had his water bottle full of water and they were like how old is he wink wink. I was like I’m to honest to lie. So I just poured the water in a garbage can but they totally would have let me go! Crazy how different they can be!

@ather you never know what you're going to get! that was the first time i had experienced that rule before!

I made rouge but later this year for the same reason, @cianni. I've really been trying to use the eyeshadow I already have. My last palette I purchased was last Christma

@curlychiquita the palettes always get me too. i went through a phase where i thought i needed 100 travel palettes. where am i traveling to? who knows. especially considering i work from home these days! which palette did you get last holiday season? do you still use it? i find i get caught up in the sparkle of the holiday releases, even if theyre not necessarily practical for me
