It's another month closer to Summer BIC! ☀️🌷 and the air is getting warmer and the hauls are getting more and more fabulous!! New releases for spring and summer are abound and we are bound to try new things or maybe just sit back and enjoy what everyone else is shopping. 😍

The gummies look interesting @Ispend2much6 . Does it really help to take it? I hear different things and would love to know.

@Sunnysmom   I have tried so many things.  I do think Vital Protein's powder collagen works.  I have seen that first hand (definitely with my nails and eyelashes.)  I'm hoping the gummies are good.

So, other things that work for me are: eating more meat, a high potency vitamin B complex supplement, and Jello. I had a 2-3 week period when I could only eat that and broth; only lost 5 pounds but gained some nails. lol

I am seriously thinking of just buying the unflavored gelatin and trying that.  I don't know if it would be any cheaper though.  I'll have to see.

If you're looking for hair growth, the above did work for me for that.  I did try Shea Moisture's minoxidil serum, and I do think it works also.  It did make me lose a little hair first, then it grew back.

Interesting @Ispend2much6 . I don’t have any hair loss issues but the rest of me could use it! 😆 My doc told me don’t bother with these but I still wonder, thanks!

@Sunnysmom  I mean, has your doctor ever tried them?  Gelatin for nail growth has been part of Jello's advertising campaign for as long as I can remember. 

From my web research: nails are made of keratin; so are the bones, hooves, claws, and horns in animals.  Gelatin is made from animal skin, connective tissue, and bones of animals.

By the way, I don't recommend looking up any videos that show exactly how collagen is derived from animals.  I keep trying to forget ever seeing that.

😔 yup @Ispend2much6 there is that, ugh. I’d rather not either. 😢  Well I mean I know gelatin has always helped but I mean these products in particular that I’m clueless about lol. She’d probably tell me to just eat jello these days! 🤣
