Spring is in the air here in Ohio! I don’t know about you guys but I’m ready for the sunshine and bright colors!! Between 

work and school I haven’t been shopping much, but I know I’ll grab some goodies during the spring sale. There are so many things on my loves list!! Happy birthday to all my March babies too!

Thanks for starting @unfungirl!!! Woke up to half a foot of snow, can you tell northeast Ohio to get with the spring memo? LOL.. Can't wait til it looks like those pictures. Some spring shopping will definitely brighten the spirits.

@CC3616 wow! Typical Ohio craziness! I had ice on my window yesterday morning but wore shorts on Monday and Tuesday. I hope you get some spring time weather soon too!

Getting ready for a work trip to Philippines and decided to go ahead and pick up the Amika Straightening Brush.

I’m very bad at blowing out my own hair (gave up the traditional flat iron after my last one short ciricted WHILE I WAS USING IT) and decided traveling to a hot and humid place was enough of an excuse to take the $130 plunge. It’s been on my Loves List for some time so I’m really looking forward to giving it a trial run tomorrow. Also picked up a travel size Pret a Powder since I typically just use baby powder for dry shampoo at home. 

Looking forward to being able to add some content to the travel thread next week!

The pret a powder is sooo good! I love that stuff. Apparently, my younger sister does too, because it is always missing.. & I find it in her makeup bag, she says it magically appears there. I beg to differ 😛

I have the round Amika hot brush, and it works so well for smoothing hair and adding a little flip to the ends.  I'm just too lazy to use it most of the time.

Here’s an embarrassing before and after from the first time using the brush. I’ll caveat this by saying I definitely need a haircut... BUT! Loved the brush. It was very intuitive and took about 8 minutes on air dried hair. I had the temp set at 370. 

Trying to take a flat lay with a catCrazy air dried hair7 minutes laterNo makeup but nice hair!
