Good Light Taste of Space Lip Milk - this new product’s not a lip gloss or lip oil. It’s a hydrating milky essence/toner/serum for lips. Contains several fruit extracts; strawberry’s among them. But I’m mostly after all the amino acids and essential fatty acids in this product’s mango and cupuacu seed butters, plus hydrating panthenol and glycerin, and moisturizing squalane. So far I’ve used it 3 times and it seems a good sub for the discontinued Glossier Bubblewrap (my former nightly lip serum). I apply a thin layer to damp lips, let it settle in for a minute, then top with Aquaphor. It has a berry flavor but no obnoxious scent. I’ll likely use it every other night instead of nightly because it contains 2 potential (for me) irritants (anise and orris root). I’ve had no bad reaction yet, but that could change within a month of use. Meanwhile, I like it so far. 👍

Good Molecules:

• Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches - a restock of one of my 2 favorite eye masks for at-home use. This jar will live in my kitchen fridge. 
• Stone Soap Tray - a replacement of another brand’s diatomaceous earth soap tray that recently broke (after 4 years of reliable service). Hopefully GM’s will perform as well as my old one did. 

Peach Slices Redness Relief Azelaic Acid Serum - a restock of my morning azelaic acid serum. (I always use Paula’s Choice’s at night.)

Nice hau @WinglessOne ! I need to look into that soap tray. I didn't know they made those. Azelaic acid is now a skin staple for me. My skin really loves it and doesn't get irritated or dry at all. I've never tried a lip milk. I saw one by Alternative Stereo on Olive Young but haven't picked it up. I hope this one doesn't irritate you over time!

Thanks @makeitup305 ! Azelaic acid is very good stuff for certain skin issues. At some point, I’ll probably move to Rx strength azelaic acid. When that happens, I might keep using an OTC product (mostly likely Paula’s Choice) at night and use the Rx in the morning. 

I think Alternative Stereo’s lip milk has a different purpose than Good Light’s. GL’s is meant to be used as skincare for lips, not as makeup (though you could certainly wear it solo during the day if you wanted; it has no tint or very noticeable gloss/shine) or lipstick adjuster. I think AS’s is more of a lipstick shade adjuster, but I might be thinking of a different brand’s product. Glossier Bubblewrap was marketed as an eye cream and lip cream, but it wasn’t nearly moisturizing enough to serve either purpose for me—but it did work great for me as a lip serum, which I topped with Aquaphor. Glossier discontinued it a year or 2 ago, and I’ve been searching for a replacement. I think Good Light’s lip milk is that replacement: same consistency and texture, plus GL’s doesn’t immediately dry my lips out.

@WinglessOne I use 20% azelaic acid as a spot treatment on pimples and find it really helps me out compared to benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, which don’t seem to work for me at all (or even make things worse). I also use a 10% all over my face when I’ve picked at it or it feels irritated. My skin doesn’t like AHAs or BHAs very much so it was nice to find something that would help with breakouts.

Alternative Stereo has a product called Steaming Milk that looks really similar to the GL. I don’t think it’s meant to adjust other shades just as kind of a lip nourishing primer. I don’t have that one but have one of their  Lip Potion Aqua Glow. It’s ok, I like the formula but I messed up because I wanted something with a tint and this is more of a gloss. I did see on Olive Young that they just came out with a tint and a Steaming Milk Balm, which seems to be a balm meant to be applied over the Steaming Milk to kind of seal in the moisture, I guess.

@CookieGirl1  My other at-home favorite is JayJun Green Tea Eye Gel Patch:

JayJun now makes a second green tea eye mask called Real Green Tea Hydrogel Eye Patch. I haven’t tried this version yet, and its INCI list is different enough to make me want to try a jar. This version probably contains more green tea than the other version, plus several plant extracts not found in the other version (doesn’t mean they’ll be more effective though), and it’s fragrance free (the other version used to also be fragrance free). 

All of JayJun’s eye masks have a pronounced curvy shape; you can see it on the jar lid. (No, the actual masks don’t have that pretty floral pattern. They’re very thin gel patches that contain flecks of green tea.) That might annoy some people because the patches don’t cover much skin near the lower lash line unless you get creative with placement. (Some folks like their eye masks to sit right under the lash line.) Doesn’t bother me though.
