I've been trying it out with my Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint Foundation with Peptides + Ceramides 4 and Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder 2. They are such different products/formulas but it performs really well with them, especially the balm. @danielledanielle 🤩 

Did you pick out a brush set yet? I'm going to eagerly await anyone who gets them to share thier thoughts and pics of them. 😉

I went with the face set @CynthieLu .  I originally wanted the starter and detail, but several of the brushes demo'ed on the TMT weren't in the starter set.  The only really appealing brush in the detail set was the angled eye liner, which I don't have, but then got a Bdellium one of off amazon.

The whole set with 40 brushes it pretty tempting, especially if you sign up and get the 20% off, bringing it down to about $9 USD per brush.

Thank you! Oh me too @Southernchic99. I've had it in mini's before so I'm thrilled to have this big jar going into the summer. 😄 I kinda wanted the large LE Tub but it went O/S on the Canadian site before I could get my hands on it. 

What's your go to moisturizers going to be this summer?

@CynthieLu  awesome hauls! Glad you were able to get the brush you wanted - it's beautiful! I hope it works well for you 💜 I think I want to get a contour stick to try experimenting with contouring more - is this the first one you've tried, or have you tried others?

Thank you! @caitbird This is my first ever. Same! I wanted to try something new. I usually use random bronzers from my collection as makeshift contour or even eyeshadow. 😉 I saw this mini and thought it was a nice way to experiment and explore without breaking the bank.

Thank you @CookieGirl1. 💕 I saw this serum get some love on the Monthly Favorites: April 2024 Edition! thread and couldn't resist trying it in a mini when I saw it was available. 😉 I wish more mini's were around out there, it's a lot easier to try new things without spending to much 💰💰 

How do you use the oil? I usually use hair oils after I wash my hair as a finishing step. But I'm open to trying new things. 😊

@CynthieLu I hope you love it!  I usually let my hair air dry for a bit and then finish it with a blow dryer so I like to dry my hair for a minute or two, add just a bit of the oil throughout my hair, and then finish drying it and it makes my hair so soft.

Recent Sephora haul

The Voluspa sampler set was recommended by @itsfi - I ended up getting it from Sephora since it seemed to be sold out at Kohl's. Sephora did not package it very well and the candles were all over the place in the box, but by some miracle none of them were broken, thankfully. I am excited to try them! Also took advantage of the Oh Hair Yeah! sale on Living Proof to stock up on my favorite dry shampoo. The Charlotte Tilbury discovery set was an impulse buy lol - I can never resist a fragrance discovery set 😅 I applied for the promo offer of Youth To The People Superfood Skin Drip Smooth + Glow Barrier Serum with Kale + Niacinamide 1 fl oz ...  sample but got a sample of their cleanser instead? 😕

Today's TJ Maxx haul (minus a couple of non-beauty items lol)

Beauty of Joseon glow serum is one of my favorites, so I was happy to pick up an extra at a discount. I also picked up a Glossier Balm Dotcom Lip Balm and Skin Salve Original , which I actually like to use when I wear perfume. I apply a little bit of the balm to my pulse points before applying fragrance, and it makes the scent last longer. I'm sure you could use Vaseline or any similar unscented lotion or balm for this, too. The Dionis hand cream set is going to be one of my mom's Mother's Day gifts.

@caitbird, if ever there was a scentsational haul… 😍 Those are some great candles you picked up. Will be curious to know which will be your favorite scent from that Voluspa set. The containers can be repurposed for so many things too, once you go through them.

@itsfi  thank you - and thanks for the recommendation! I am excited to try the Voluspa candles and find out which ones I like best! And I definitely plan to repurpose as many of the containers as I can, I think that's a great idea. What do you use yours for? I am always on the lookout for more ideas!
