I couldn't really tell from the online but it's a shimmer, so I'm not sure if I can use it in the water line, which is why I bought it, but it was one sale and 5x points so it's fine for now. I'm still trying to find a yellow pencil to replace my Odens Eye one I finished recently, but I'm not supporting that brand anymore. This is the third one I've tried that isn't quite right. I might have to get the VB one next but the price makes it hard to justify.

Did I need any of this? No, but the sale got me. I had been really wanting to try both of these, since they're supposed to be geared toward dryer skin. The shade range on the Rose Inc is a little wild though, and this is the second lightest shade but is a bit dark/oxidizes for me, but I'll be able to blend it out. I really have been wanting to try the the foundation but also wish it was less of ableist name 😞 . A few GWP and points perks to round out my biggest more fun for me haul in a while (have just been getting skin care for my partner mostly). Does anyone know what that Vegamore hair stuff smells like? So I can avoid this scent in the future, it is overpowering. But I'm still keen to see what the hair products do.

@haleyvvvv  Aw, sorry that eyeliner’s not what you hoped for. I’ve never seen the Oden’s Eye yellow liner in person, so I’m not sure what’d be a good substitute. Normally I’d recommend LH Cosmetics’s yellow liner pencil (all of Linda Hallberg’s pencils are multi-use), but it’s not in stock online—at least not directly at the brand site. And unlike OE, Linda is actually Swedish. 😂 (I mean, I wouldn’t ding OE for that if they didn’t try so hard to brand themselves as Swedish.) Anyway, I hope you still get some use out of the Sephora liner if you keep it.

Oooh, @WinglessOne  I just went on a deep dive of LH cosmetics and it looks like they used to have a yellowish liner but it was from a different formula and the line now doesn't have one 😞 . I have been wanting to try her stuff for a while, her artistry is really cool.

Lol at OE. I'm not convinced the brand isn't somewhat based in Sweden, and they're upfront about packaging and shipping from China and HK. But there's so many reasons not to support them. 

I used the liner yesterday and I like it, but it wasn't quite what I'm looking for. Thank you!!

@haleyvvvv  I have Linda’s true yellow matte pencil (shade Happy); it’s from the Mood line of crayons, which she does still have—but several Mood shades are out of stock. I haven’t heard that she’s discontinued them, but now I’m curious enough to ask her/the brand about that.

I also have several shades of Linda’s Core and Flash crayons (one of the Flashes is a shimmery yellow gold shade), and this year I bought a couple of her newer lip shade pencils which seem creamier than the other pencils. The lip pencils don’t work on the eyes as well as the other pencils do unless I powder-set them. They don’t self-set as well as the Mood, Core, and Flash pencils do. 

Anyway, I do hope Happy’s coming back since it’s a very good yellow liner. It’s the unicorn of eyeliners; I’ve yet to find another yellow liner as good (from a brand I feel good about supporting, anyway). Some of the Mood shades have frequently sold out over the years. Heck, it took me a couple years to finally get Cool Mood (the blue matte shade) because it was constantly sold out. 😅 I do see Cool Mood’s still listed on the site (as sold out, unsurprisingly) though, while Happy’s not—and neither are Calm, Likeable, Anger, Delighted… several of the Flashes are also missing, argh. I really hope they’re not gone for good. 

If I was crazy—well, crazier—and thought using a liquid product on the waterline wouldn’t possibly cause issues, I’d wonder about using Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix - Multi-Use Eye, Cheek & Lip Waterproof Liquid Pigment Primary Yellow that way. I’ve used Colorfixes in several ways but not in the waterline, because I assume that’s a bad idea. Sure, a matte Colorfix is safe to use anywhere else on the face, and the mattes do dry down fairly quickly. But to apply one to the waterline, I’d need to use a silicone brush/applicator/tool (to avoid irritating the heck outta my lower lids with a liner brush) and keep my eyes open long enough for the Colorfix to set, assuming it would set at all in that location. So look, this isn’t me recommending this at all. I’m just thinking my crazy thoughts out loud right now. A MUCH safer option is Danessa Myricks Beauty Infinite Chrome Waterproof Micropencil Eyeliner Lemon Quartz, but it’s a duochrome (one of my favorites, actually) and probably not what you want. We need Danessa to release some matte gel eyeliners for waterline use!

So weird, but the Mood line didn't come up for me at all when Iooked at the LH cosmetics site under eye pencils and on the site overall. (I saw elsewhere at like BeautyBay). Maybe a weird Canadian thing? 

I do really like the Danessa Myricks duo chrome liners, but the yellow one wasn't exactly what I looking for but I did almost get that one instead. I wish she would come out with matte liners!!

@haleyvvvv  In your screenshot, the “Crayon” (left side) link is where you’d find the Mood, Core, and Flash liners. All of Linda’s pencils are called “Crayons,” and she used to further break them into finish categories. Cores are matte “core” neutral shades (black, brown, beige, white, grey); Moods are colorful mattes (yellow, green, blue, pinky red violet, red, orange); and Flashes are shimmer shades. The “Crayon lipliner” pencils are a newer group of reds, pinks, etc. that she’s marketing primarily as lip liners, though they can also be used elsewhere on the face. 

Now I’m kicking myself for not buying backups of some of the now-missing matte and shimmer Crayons. Not that I think I’ll finish one quickly, but I like to have backups in case one gets infected with cooties (if I absentmindedly use one while sick and don’t sanitize it well enough afterward). It’d be nice to have another Happy Mood and Calm Mood (green matte). Note to self: definitely email LH Cosmetics about the missing Crayon shades.

I hope you can find a replacement color for your waterline @haleyvvvv I have been on the fence about VB liners as well, mostly just the price and everything involved with across the pond shopping. The reviews are so positive thou from people on BIC that have them.

I have one, @CynthieLu , and it's SUCH a good liner, but the shipping to Canada is so much. I bought mine on a black Friday free shipping deal, and I might do that again.
